How do I gain points in LUV?

QuestionHow do I gain points in LUV?
Answer
There are two ways to gain points for LUV. Let me just explain how that works.
One way is by giving LUV to another user. Each time you give LUV you'll earn points. See this chart below to see how much you get for each package.
The other way to get points from LUV is to receive it. Everytime you receive LUV you'll earn points too! This next chart shows you how many points you get from those packages above.
You also see those gold hearts. Those hearts are the LUV the recipient gets in turn for receiving LUV! So if I give Laura 100 hearts she gets 1,100 points and 50 LUV. Laura can give out that 50 LUV to me or whomever she chooses.
Now go out there and share the LUV!

Exciting~~~ NOT Confusing~~~VERY..    the reason I am confused:  I have a friend  who also didn't quite understand the new system so we wanted to TEST IT..... WE AGREED to send each other 3 luvs (He was at my house)   I sent him 3  and he sent me back 3  (these were our 3 free luvs)   Please  EXPLAIN how that works?  We FEEL that we should have had the SAME amount of LUV points in the END. It appears that my
friend did not receive all the LUV I sent to him.  SO ? ?? how come I ended up with total  of 435 luv ~ YET he only received 370 luv  ~~~~  We both started with NONE; we did the exact same thing????  I sent my 3 LUV hearts  to him, he sent his 3 LUV hearts  me..  (25 for each LUV heart sent) I earned a total of 75 points for this;  plus he sent me 3, which should have been an additional 60 points I  earned ~ 20 per heart received.  Grand total of 75 plus 60 equals =135 points.  This does NOT seem FAIR to me at all.
Also, You don't actually give a GOLD price listed that the  the hearts will cost YOU.. so how much is it to buy say 10 HEARTS ??  an actual gold price per heart would be nice to know, or even for 10, 50 or 100 hearts.  I also  prefer the old game.. I agree with what sendmenoflowers had to say above "If you wanted to add a way of cashing in gold to buy extra luvs, you could have done so without completely doing away with the old system.  All I wanted to do is send some luv this morning and I am not sure if it actually sent.  The old system had a screen that showed me what I sent to my friends and what I have received."

  • How to determine a point(or a path)  inside a closed path?

    I came across such a problem:
          My client requires add a number marks inside a closed path ,and such a closed path is irregular,
    My question is, how to ensure a point(or a path) is inside another closed path,and how to calculate this point?
    Is there any suite in the SDK to accomplish this function?

    haha ,I found a good way to solve this problem,We can use AIPathfinderSuite::DoFrontMinusBackEffect  to determine  whether a path  inside another closed path.

  • How many Multi-Touch points can an iPhone/iPod touch have at the same time?

    How many Multi-Touch points can an iPhone/iPod touch/iPad have at the same time?
    I am curious as IIRC (but forgot where the article is on the Internet),
    if a touch surface is wanted to be able to detect more than 1 touch point at the same time,
    then that touch surface needs adding 1 more conductive(?) layer.
    (e.g. 2 points -> 2 layers, and so on)
    So I wonder how many these layers are on the iPhone / iPod touch / iPad or even the trackpad on every MacBook (Pro).
    (correct me if I'm wrong)
    Just curious, thanks in advance!

    I believe it can only support 2. This article explains how the touch screen works but doesn't explicitly say how many points is supports.

  • How to create restore point in windows server 2008 service pack1

    hi i am bhaskar ... how to create restore point in windows server 2008 service pack1 and how to restore system from a restore point in windows server 2008 service pack1.. is this option available or not ? what is the difference between shadow copies and
    restore point ? instead of restore point we have this shadow copies option in windows server 2008 ?Bhaskar

    AFIK, Restore Points doesn’t exist in Windows 2008.
    Volume Shadow Copy option can be used to achieve:
    Creating consistent backups of open files and applications
    Creating shadow copies for shared folders
    Creating transportable shadow copies using a hardware provider — for backup, testing and data mining scenarios
    Quickly recovering and restoring files and data
    It is more like a file, data, application backup.

  • How to remove links pointing to the same page?

    I have PDF documents with Links which point to sections referenced (e.g. link of text "Section 2.2" points to the actual page number of "Section 2.2"), but as the links are created from cross-references during rendition from Word to PDF, there are cases that the destination page number and source page number of the links are the same (e.g. links of text "Section 2.2" on page 9 are created with the destination of page 9 which is the actual page number of "Section 2.2"), I want to remove all these links, but I don't know how to get the destination page, I check the API reference and find that "PDLinkAnnotGetAction" may work , but I don't know how to use it, could you check me codes below and advise ? Your help is really appreciated!
    PDPage page;
    ASInt32 i,i2;
    AVDoc avDoc = AVAppGetActiveDoc();
    PDDoc pdDoc = AVDocGetPDDoc (avDoc);
    int pageNum = PDDocGetNumPages(pdDoc);
    for (i = pageNum - 1; i >= 0; i--)
    page = PDDocAcquirePage(pdDoc, i);
    int annotNum = PDPageGetNumAnnots(page);
    for (i2 = annotNum - 1; i2 >= 0; i2--)
      if...
      PDPageRemoveAnnot(i, i2);
    My Product Information:
    Acrobat Pro 8.1.6, Windows

    Start by reading the PDF standard (ISO 32000-1) to understand Actions vs. Destinations.
    Then for each annot, you'll want to see which it has (and in the case of an Action, if it has more than one).  Then you need to parse the action or dest to see what it is and where it goes.  If you don't like it, then you'll delete it.

  • How to create Mount Point in Linux

    Hi,
    I m new to Linux OS, want to install Oracle EBS R12 on OEL 5.6 . I have downloaded s/w and installed all required packages for OEL.
    Now i want to create Staging directory at location /u01/StageR12.
    Can anyone guide me for how to create Mount point /u01 and how to assign space of 53 GB to it.... ?
    Reply awaited...

    You're on the right path.
    Keep in mind though what you need partition wise just for o/s install. You should have at least 3 partitions:
    - a ?? GB partition for the / (root) mount (the size depends on what you will install and how much space you will need for running that s/w)
    - a 128MB or larger partition for the /boot mount
    - a ?? GB partition as swap space mount (typically rule of thumb is 2x RAM for 4GB and lower, else around 25% of total RAM)
    I would not create separate partitions for the old-style +/u01+ mount points for Oracle. That part of the OFA (Oracle Flexible Architecture) standards are old and pre-ASM and pre- automated Oracle managed data files.
    You need space for installing an Oracle Home. I do not see the need for a dedicated mount point for that. I use the root file system.
    You need space for the actual database. If you use Oracle ASM, then I would create raw partitions (across disks) to be used for database storage. These will not be mounted or formatted. Instead these will be assigned to an ASM diskgroup (and striped by default) and used for database storage.
    If you do not use ASM, then you need a cooked file system for storage of database file. In that case separate mount point(s) make sense. Also, it makes sense not to manually apply the old OFA standards, but instead use Oracle managed database files. In that case you need a single mount point (e.g.<i>/oracledb</i>) - and set that as the base directory for Oracle to use for the database. Oracle will create an OFA compliant database directory tree and files under that base directory/mount point.
    Keep in mind that the more mount points you have for the database, the more difficult your job becomes to manage storage. The easiest is a single mount point for the database and using Oracle to manage the OFA compliant side for you on that mount point.
    Also, you cannot and should not attempt some kind of manual striping layout of the database across multiple mountpoints. This may have made some sense back 10+ years ago. It no longer does.

  • How to give the points??

    hi all
    pls let me tell how to give the point to our friends??

    please check the rules engagement found in the begining of the questions page. Out of that the 4 th step is the following.
    Step 4: Thank Others by Giving Points
    SDN/BPX has a Contributor Recognition Program. Which in short text means that for each question you have 10 points, which can be given to the person that answers your question. 6 & 2 points should also be given for helpful answers. For every question you later award points for, you in turn receive 1 point for.
    you would find three radio buttons on the left hand side of your query with marked with 3 colors. Choose the suitable one based on the merit of the answer.

  • How do I gain control....

    How do I gain control of my F14 and F15 keys on the keyboarde of my G5? Right now they are taken up by brightness and dimming controls that are redundant since I have those on the monitor itself (Apple 23) and badly need those to assign functions in some of my apps. Can't seem to find a spot in the System Preferences where I can disable these.

    There is no way. I asked this question months ago and got no answers.
    The only thing that came close was an app called Mac Pilot that is supposed to make it possible to change lots of hidden settings. I sent them an email and they said it could do it but I never got around to trying it.
    I did some Google searching and someone had a way to do it with some complex Terminal operation but I didn't want to deal with it.
    I have Quickeys set up to perform all kinds of things on my Mac and have long ago run out of easy keystrokes and would like those free as well.

  • How to obtain JNIEnv pointer and jobject reference in arbitrary contexts?

    Hi,
    I need your hand. How to obtain JNIEnv pointer and jobject reference in arbitrary contexts? (See below source codes for details)
    I made some tries according to JNI spec, but still failed to get it work. Could you please provide your solutions? Better show me some source codes.
    Thank you very much !!!
    #include <jni.h>
    #include "MessageThread.h"
    #include "MyServer.h"
    // this is callback function called by the native C++ library
    void processEvent(int progress)
       in this function, i want to get "env", "obj" ( HOW? ),
       then i can do below to invoke Java function "updateUI":
       cls = env->GetObjectClass(obj);
       mid = env->GetMethodID(cls, "updateUI", "(I)V");
       env->CallVoidMethod(obj, mid, progress);
    JNIEXPORT void JNICALL
    Java_MessageThread_handleMessageQ(JNIEnv *env, jobject obj)
      MyServer* server = MTMServer::Instance();
      if (server != NULL)
        // must register a callback function before "QueryProgress"
        server->RegisterCallback(processEvent);
        // query message within a loop, and callback "processEvent" frequently
        server->QueryProgress();
      return;
    }

    jschell, thanks for your suggestions.
    And caching the second is definitely wrong. Arguments are passed as local references. The reference lifetime is only guaranteed for the lifetime of the method call.In my case, it just works, because my "callback" is only called before the "handleMessageQ" returns, which means it's within the lifetime of "jobject", etc.
    Use GetEnv to get the environment.Could you please provide some sample codes?
    Create a static java method which returns the object reference. In your callback call that method to get the reference that you want to work with. I didn't really understand. Could you please show me some sample codes?
    Thanks a lot!

  • How to create watch points in ECC 6.0

    Hi Experts,
    How to create watch points in ECC 6.0
    Thanks.

    Dear Kalyan,
    The moment the debugger starts, there will be an icon for "Watchpoint" exactly after F5, F6, F7, F8 and a big STOP red button on the application tool bar. Once you click on that Watchpoint button, it will take you to the screen where you need to define the exact field and its relative operator along with the condition to be checked.
    Hope this is clear. No navigation needed for this.

    There are several other threads here about doing this, or you can look up the "sim swap" method, documented here: http://www.jgmedia.biz/how-to-get-data-and-mms-working-on-straight-talk-iphone-4 -and-iphone-4s-on-ios-6-updated-sim-swap-method/.
