How do I get a Fontbook symbol to show up?

Hi, I would like to insert the little snowman in a Pages document. I see in Fontbook it shows to use Apple Symbols. But Fontbook does not tell me what key combination to use to GET the snowman. I thought at one time Fontbook would show you the key combinations needed to get a symbol. When I have the Pages 09 document open I have Apple Symbols selected and no matter what key combinations I use I cannot find that little snowman.
Can anyone help with this? I sure would appreciate it.

After messing with the Special Characters window in Pages 09, I notice that I can get it if I double click on it but I have to go to "Glyph" whatever that means, and then double click on it.
The usual way to do it is via Character Viewer, View = All Characters/Symbols/Miscellaneous Symbols.
I just remember and I may be wrong that I thought one could bring up Fontbook, click on a symbol and at the bottom of the Fontbook window it would give you the key combination you needed to insert that symbol.
I don't think Fontbook ever worked that way, perhaps you are thinking of the app PopChar. But in any case, OS X uses Unicode, which means switching fonts no longer gives you different characters from the normal keyboard. Only a small number of symbols have key combos and for the rest you need to use the Character Viewer.
It would be nice if you could open Fontbook and just copy and paste it into a document.
Fonts are kind of irrelevant under Unicode, so I think they will keep this function in the Character Viewer. It's best to look for characters there rather than by searching individual fonts.

1. iTunes won't offer cloud downloads for songs that it "thinks" are in your library, even if it "knows" the files are missing. If you've exhaustively searched for the missing files and there is no prospect of repair by restoring to them to their original locations, or connecting to new ones, then delete that tracks that display both the missing exclamation mark and are of media kind Purchased/Protected AAC audio file. Don't hide from iTunes in the cloud when asked, close iTunes, then reopen. You can download from the cloud links or iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer > All songs > Download all.
2. Why? Not sure, perhaps 3rd party tools or accidental key presses combined with previously hidden warning messages when trying to organize the library. There is a hint that using the feature to downsample media as it is synced to a device may also be involved, though I've not replicated it. Whatever the reason a backup would protect your media.

How can I get my RSS feeds to show up on my iOS devices from iCloud? The RSS feeds now show up just fine on my iMac.
On my iMac the appear in a category at the same level as In Box, Sent, etc. However the term RSS is in lighter grey like Mailboxes, On My Mac, Reminders. I use Snow Leopard 10.7.5. Any help will be appreciated as I'd like to read the feeds on my iPad 2 and iPhone 5 when I'm away from home.

You did not mention that it must be through iCloud. But then, it can't really do so if you want to maintain separate Apple IDs.
So you just set up an additional calendar on your devices.
iPads, iPhone, Macs can show multiple calendars simultaneously. I have my work calendar and several personal calendars all showing simultaneously on my iPad, Mac Mini and Macbook Pro. In the case of my client, they didn't need multiple calendars. They just were going to use the one shared calendar. But I did setup the shared Google calendar and separate personal caldendars on their iPhones. (e.g.: Husband's iPhone = husband's personal Mac Cal + shared Google Calendar. Wife's iPhone = wife's personal Outlook for Windows Cal + shared Google Calendar.)

I am using my Mac 10.9.3 with Adobe Reader XI in my Safari 7.0.4 Browser. I do not have any trouble viewing PDF statements with my bank or other places OTHER than at Ford Credit. Each time I log into Ford Credit to view the statements and attempt to download them, all I get on the screen is their blank form with headings and titles---no content. When this happened once before over a year ago with my old Mac computer, I found my answer online by making Adobe Reader my default reader instead of Preview. At that time it worked. This time, its not working. I contacted Ford Credit and they said their online Account Manager performs better using Internet Explorer. The only answer they had for me was that advice or to contact Adobe. So here I am looking for answers. Any help provided is already appreciated.

I do not know what to do or what to say or what to type to get someone familiar with the Adobe Reader to respond to my plea for help. The Finder reports File information. The date and time of the photo are in the Photo's Exif metadata. The Finder has no awareness of this. All photos apps on any system do.

How do I get a different URL to show up after an email form has been submitted?

I have created a Form in DW CS5 and have some PHP server side code to mail it out.
However, once the Submit button is pressed it refreshes back to the Form - How do I get a different page to show up after the Form is submitted?
I tried using a behavior - onSubmit - go to URL - that gets me to the page I want to go to but I guess it overrides the PHP Form Action because the email will not send.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

In my form - I have tried inserting a hidden field with the Value set to the redirected page I want to go to

In my form Action PHP Include - I have inserted a header function with the redirected page I want to go to

I have also checked for empty/extra spaces at the start and end of my php tags
None of the above has got me to the redirected page I want to go to after the submit button is selected - the Form page continues to refresh.

You will need to connect your iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over to your computer (that will copy PDFs and epubs that are in the iBooks app, not just actual ibooks), and you can then sync them to your iPhone. Or you might be able to open each PDF in iBooks on your iPad and use the share icon to email them to yourself and then use 'open in' in the Mail app on your iPhone to copy them to its iBooks app (if the PDF is protected then you may not get the email option via the share icon).
The Settings > iBooks > Sync Collections setting doesn't copy items between devices, it just means that it a bookor PDF is on both devices and you move it into a collection on one device then it will be moved into the same collection on the other device

How can I get the direction handles to show up for the Position attribute?
I have CS3 and I did the formentioned test and was able to make the handles work for the scale attribute but they don't seem to show when editing the position values.
*I am in the graph editor looking at the "value graph"
*I select the keys and convert the keys to auto bezier (I also tried the ease in and out buttons)
*It changed the graph the way you might think (no longer linear) however the handles are not showing to edit further.
*I also tried using the "convert vertex tool" (part of the pen tool) and still no luck getting those handles.
*the handles only show up in the speed graph but that does me no good.

I don't have CS3 installed on any of my machines any more but your value graphs for position should look something like this:
There are no handles for position in the Graph editor. You adjust the position curve by editing the motion path in the composition window. Press the G key to bring up the pen tool, then use the modifier keys Crtl/Cmnd and Alt/Option to temporarily switch between select and convert vertex to adjust the paths. Changes will be reflected in the value graphs. You will get editable handles with scale and rotation because these are not spatial properties. Spatial properties, position, Anchor Point, all XY & Z coordinates are edited in the comp window or in the layer window after revealing the properties. IOW, you edit anchor point position paths by opening up the layer window and choosing Anchor Point from the display options.
