How do i get a hit counter on my site

Hi everyone
Im looking for a we hit counter for my site, but it seems
like its abit more complecated than i want it to be, or am i
getting it wrong?
I have looked on the dreamweaver exchange, i dowloaded one
called 'visit counter v.1.0' by felixone, and it says its on the
server behaviours panel under the 'felixone' menu, but i cant find
the server behaviours panel.
Can anyone help? or does anyone have a good link to an easy
to use one?

You realise that 'hit counters' are pretty old hat and look a
bit amateurish
on a site these days :-)
Check with your host, they may have a stats program that you
can view to
check out what hits and other information you can gather by
the visitors to
your site.
If you really want a hit counter, you may be ble to find

View menu > Show Word Count.

Nevermind, just, sort of answered my own question. Doesn't work on XP, but using a Win 7 'puter I was able to use Shutter Count, which now works w/ the 7D Mark II.

Humm.......hit counters are meaningless. They don't provide accurate figures of who has visited your website.
You'd be better off putting Goolge Analytics on the site - that will give you more accurate feedback.
If you want to just have some fun Google Web Counter - there are plenty of free resources where you can download the code needed and insert it into your websites page.
Just grab the code and paste it where you want the counter to show up on your page (not recommended)

We license our software by number of workstations.
I have a query that I have used for years to get an accurate count of the workstations logged in to my SQL Server database. For simplicity, all users use the same login name/password. This is built in to the script that attaches to the DB. They
have access only to that DB with the exception of
USE [Master] GRANT VIEW SERVER STATE to MyUser
The query that has been working is below:
Basically this relies on the mac address (Master.dbo.sysprocesses.net_addre

ss), since both Workstation names and ip addresses can be duplicated.
Recently this has stopped working at a number of customers. Suddenly individual workstations are showing multiple net addresses for the same workstation causing a substantial overcount of users. This may be related to SQL Server 2012 - not sure.
What I need is a very reliable way to get a count of workstations logged in to my database.
If anyone can tell me why I am suddenly getting multiple net_addresses for each workstation and how to prevent that that would be one possible solution.
Otherwise if anyone can give me a rock solid way to get a workstation count other than the above that would be great. Our largest customer is 50 users by the way.

I think your count is getting skewed because of duplicate rows in sysprocesses because of parallelism. Add DISTINCT to your query:

Word count: Tap the wrench icon at the top and choose Settings from the menu that opens. Turn on Word Count.
Do you have iCloud turned on on your iMac? You need to make sure Documents and Data syncing to iCloud is turned on on the computer.

You should have copied the complete iTunes Library, including the iTunes Library.itl file, which, as far as I know, contains all the Play Counts from the existing (old) iTunes and pasted that into your new computer.
Again, as far as I understand it, the total Play Count is not held on the Classic. If it was, it would not include plays within the iTunes Library. All the iPod does is remember how many plays since the last sync and tell iTunes to increase the Play Count by that number.

Can anyone help me with this? Is there a command or short cut to getting FCP to count the number of cuts in my sequence? I've edited together a 75 minute film, and I need to find out how many cuts there are in it, and short of doing it manually (which would take forever), I'm at a loss for a solution. Thanks so much!

Thanks for the answer. I did that, but a couple of master clips showed up in the bin, that I wasn't using in the movie. Not at a lot, maybe 10-20 out of almost a 1000. Then I found a better way. I pasted the whole film into a new sequence, removed all sound and text, so it left only the video clips, and I also tried as much as possible to group all the clips on the V1 track of the timeline, and then I selected show item properties (with the whole sequence highlighted) and FCP shows a warning to the effect: "Can only show the first 100 clips out of ???, in my case it was 963.

(Custom) Search: How do I get Page hits vs. Imbedded portlet hits

Say a page "A" contains a portletized page "B" which contains text "C" .
How can we get the Custom Search Portlet searching for "C" to return as a hit page "A" vs. returning the actual page "B" which is what is included in page "A".
(Currently we get back "B" where we want to get "A")
So at the end of the day we want to get the page where the hit belongs to NOT the "piece" (portlet) which the hit came from...
