How do I get a list of the most recent upgraded packages?

Hi there,
I want to get a list of the last upgrades using pacman.
I´ve been looking for a way to do it in the man page, but either I´m blind or there is not such an option.
I know that I can just do:
ls --sort time /var/cache/pacman/pkg/|head
But what if I clean the cache regularly?
Does the pacman database store the upgrade or installation date for each package? If so, how can I access this data?

Edit: I know that "pacman -Qi" gives me the date of installation of individual packages, but what I want is to be able to sort the list of all installed packages by date.

I would prefer if pacman had some option for sorting the queries, but for now, this will do fine.

I have a MacBook 2009 with osx 10.5.8 what is the most recent upgrade I can buy? osx 10.6.8 and from there go up to mavericks?

Your suggestion works great if I'm walking down through the reports looking to see who has access to them.Â
However, I need to do this starting from the User object.Â When I use the ObjectPrincipals of the User, I get a list of the users who have the rights to modify the user.Â I did a lot of work on this last week andÂ it boils down toÂ I'm going to have to actually log in as the user (I can use trusted authentication to do this without having the user's password) and then run a query to select all of the reports in the system - this should give me just the reports that the user has access to.Â Not the most efficient way to get the data from my perspective, but it should work.
This would be a great feature to have added to future versions of the SDK.Â I need it for a couple of purposes:
1.Â To gather information to set up the security in my archive viewer application.
2.Â For auditing purposes - we currently have only Professional licenses so I don't have access to the internal auditing functionality.Â Plus, I'm not sure that that includes the kind of info I'm looking for so I'm building an app that extracts information to XML which is then used by a couple of reports so that I can provide the audit info as needed.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

How do I configure my phone to the most recent sync in iTunes?

I am attempting to set up a temporary replacement phone and my attempts to restore my phone to the most recent backup (completed earlier today) are not working. Instead, my iTunes only recognizes the most recent backup from 1/22/13.
Is there any way I can change my most recent backup so that my iTunes will acknowledge it? If this is not possible, how can I sync the new phone so I don't lose almost three months of text history, photos, notes, etc?
I am using Mac OS X 10.5.8, and both the original and replacement phone are the 4S.

Itunes only keeps one backup and every time you make a new backup the old one is overwritten. If you still have your old phone then make a manual backup of it (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766). As to the replacement phone and the three months of messages etc you might use a program likeiphone backup extractor to retrieve and keep information on it and also do a backup but remember you can't merge the two backups and if you restore from a backup the information that you get back is per whatever was on the backup you used for the restore

How do I change mail so only the most recent mail from a person opens?

When I open mail and go to a new mail all of the files/documents that, that person has ever sent me from previous days open as well. The other emails that I do not want also show up on the right side of my mail in the preview the document part. How do I change it so that I only see the email I am clicking on not a scrolling document of all of the mail items the sender has sent me. If so, iOS updates are free - you won't be paying anything for it, and the same for iOS 5.
Apple has provided some of the new features included with iOS 6, but not list of all since iOS 6 has not been released yet. Some of the features included with the current iOS 6 BETA version may be removed or changed.

I wanted to have a string which can describe all the failed steps. For example, if I had the steps below :
Step 1
Step 2
Step 3, etc
and Step 1 and Step 3 failed, how can I get a string " Step1, Step2" ?
Can I somehow add a variable in each step which records the step result and then use all the variables at the end to creat a Result string ?

you have at least two possibilities for your question:
a) use the "SequencePostResultListEntry"-callback. You can check the "Step.Result.Status". If it is failed, you can copy the stepname into a string-variable which builds your "string"
b) In the end of your MainSequence, just browse your ResultList for every step which has Result.Status as failed. Copy all stepnames into your string.
Both methods require your station to record results, but since this is defaultsetting, there shouldn't be a problem.

I have a newer version of flash player installed then what is listed as the most recent version??

I am checking the version i have installed of flash player via the adobe version check option at the site and i have version 11.8.800.94 and when i check the list of the latest versions of Adobe, i see 11.7.700.169 listed as being the latest vversion. How can i have a version installed that's above that? I haven't installed a beta version, never signed up for beta testing and all i did was install the latest version of flash player via the website.
I am wondering what this is cause recently when viewing videos on youtube, my videos tend to hang up or end halfway through and think the video ended when it's not. My guess now is that i have sumhow obtained a version of flash player that's not correct and thus why the videos go haywire now. Re-installing flash player sets it back to the 11.8 version again, so that didn't work.
Any information any1 might have that can solve this is much appreciated.

When I go to Top Charts it sorts by Most Helpful and I always have to change it to "Most Recent".

At least I'm not alone! I just started a discussion asking how Most Helpful is determined in the Apps Store application Reviews, since it's the default. Most helpful to whom? I'd also like to get rid of it as the default choice so I hope you get a viable answer. Oops! Over a year ago. Not likely but good luck!
