I have an old iMac 4,1 and the dvd has broken and needs to be replaced, I've changed the hard drive in it a while back so I've taken it apart before without any problems. (I watched a ton of video's on you tube) lol
but it looks like their are a load of different dvd's and I'm not sure which dvd is for me!
my sn number is W8***P
if anyone can help and give me the part number I would be very pleased.

You have a 13th week of 2006 iMac.
 
The installer disk that came with it would have said iMac Intel, and have the same version of 10.4 that Wikipedia says was available during that week.
 
The DVD superdrive is easily replaceable by numerous ones sold by http://www.macsales.com/
 
 
Before doing that, your CR2032 PRAM battery may need replacing, and might in the process fix your built-in Superdrive.

How do I get my UDID number from my ipod if I can't plug it into itunes? Apple took it back because it was broken and gave me a new one but I have games and apps that can only be moved over with the UDID from the old pod.

The serial number will be located in the box the device came in.
However, having the serial number will not help you lock it.
The only way to lock it would have been if you set up Find My iPad on iCloud.com and the iPad.
you could then go to iCloud.com and lock it from the "Find my iPhone" section of the website.

There is no serial number and you don't need one. What you need for a subscription is to SIGN IN within Acrobat, so it knows the subscriptions you own.
