They have just appeared and in most cases in multiples for the same date etc
Thanksgiving, multiples for Christmas, NewYear eve etc etc Queens birthday. Also if I select the date, no option comes up for me to delete.
Unusual to me , I am not real au faux with the IPad but do not believe I have done anything different to when I enter the dates which I want to add.

It is known as newsstand and is a part of iOS.
It is per installed and cannot be removed. Just ignore it as it does not take a lot of memory. It is just a folder.

HOW do I get the "watch" to stay on and not shut off on my 6th GEN NANO?

After purchasing a $70 cool watchband for my new 6th GEN NANO, I'm very disapointed that I can't get the "watch" function to stay on more than 15 seconds. AppleCare says that it isn't meant to stay on, it would run down the battery. Then why put on 16 watch faces, and show it as a "watch" on everything you publish? Doesn't make sense you can watch TV shows and movies, but doesn't have enough battery to run a watch face. BAD design, and shame on APPLE for selling a dozen different watchbands in their stores. Now don't you think the store salesman would say "are you thinking of wearing this as a watch, or to hold your NANO while you are at the gym"? 15 seconds is often not enought time to get setup and take someone's blood pressure. I don't think I need to offer an explanation of WHY a watch should work more than 15 seconds without pushing a button, do I?

The difference is that we knew what we were buying . jThey were upfont about the FACT that the watches didn't stay on. And how well did they sell as watches? Hmmm I don't think any of us said that Apple was pushing Nano primarily as a watch. That said, this is not a third party "app" either .... 18 clock faces come with the Nano as a "feature" of the product. It's not a "digital time read out"... it's made to look and act like a watch. Apples own website touts that you can change its face "to match your mood or your outfit".... The bands they sell range from $20 bucks to like $150 bucks.... This is a HUGE money maker for them. It is THESE KINDS OF FEATURES that brings people back buying new ipods, because like I said, without them, I have plenty of devices that already "record music", or "store pictures". And your other points have zero merit. Go to the Apple website to the Nano 6 page where Apple touts all of its merits. This is where Apple explains the features of their product. The most immediate thing you need to do is to call your credit card company and report the unauthorized charges. Your card company can contact Apple if they need additional information.
Next, log into your iTunes Store account and see if the purchases are reflected in the Purchase History. If they are, immediately change the password to your iTunes Store account, making sure it's not something easily guessed or looked up. Then go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.
If the charges are not reflected in the Purchase History, then it's most likely a fraudulent charge to your credit card directly rather than an unauthorized purchase through your iTunes Store account in which case it will be up to your bank to handle.

it's an @iCloud.com mail account along with @me.com account.

I actually am illiterate on the use of the finder to to view photos in folders. I guess I will go to a class at the local Apple store for a lesson on the uses of finder .
My method of viewing my photos are through events in I photo.
1. Download from camera or scan in from old photos.
2 I organize photos into events by occasion, or happenings in a certain year, or a group of photos with memorabilia of a certain person from childhood and on. etc.
3. Because Iphoto does not allow rearranging as I was able to do in my old PC with Corell, I drag all of the photos to an " album" on the left side of sceen.
4. I arrange photos in "order" after which I number each photo in sequence. I do this for a few of reasons.
          - if a photo is accidentally deleted I know it. I can usually remedy this by checking my trash or
rescanning.
          - I can sort by title without complications and this holds in "album"
5. The pictures will re arrange automatially to match the album in I photo.
6. This worked great in I-photo 09 but now in mountain lion the pictures in events go back to "
sort by date" and will not hold "sort to Title"each time I photo is closed down. What a nuicance it is to have to go to view and click "title" again and again every time Iphoto is opened.
7. Can I go back to Photo 09? .

You need to transfer your domain.sites file from your MacBook to your iMac. This is the file where iWeb stores all info and can be found under User/Library/Application Support/iWeb/domain.sites.
Transfer this file from your MacBook to the same place on your iMac and double click the domain.sites file and iWeb will open it on your iMac and you can update your site from there too.

It sounds like you would like to download your iTunes purchases to your computer rather than streaming them from iTunes in the Cloud. I recommend downloading your purchases directly to your computer using the Purchases page in the iTunes Store:
Download previous iTunes Store purchases to an authorized computer
Click iTunes Store near the top of the iTunes window.
Click the Purchased link at the right of the iTunes Store homepage (below Quick Links).
In the page that appears, select a category.
iTunes shows you which of your purchases are available for download. You can view all of your past purchases, or just the ones not currently in your iTunes library. Items already in your library aren’t available for download. If you select Music, you can view your purchases by song, artist, or album. If you’re viewing by album, click an album to see which songs on it are available for downloading.
To download all available items, click Download All.
