I live in Warrandyte (VIC) and it is widely known that our internet service in the suburb is sub-standard. This is due to a combination of exchange congestion and ageing infrastructure in the street.
What I need is a technician to visit and test my lines; (a) at the pole(b) at the 1st point in my house (c) at another point in the house so that I can determine exactly where the issue is with my phone/adsl service What telstra number do I call to get this organised?

In some cases they will check the wiring to the first socket, however a lot of houses now have the NBP as the Madison box (or similar). So it's unreasonable to give an expectation of work inside the property. Also because even if you have a first socket as the NBP, they will check the cabling to that but otherwise will check nothing else within the house.
As soon as you say they will test in the house it sets an expectation and no amount of qualification will be remembered when an ICOF is charged because it's in the dodgy extension cabled patched from the first socket running under the house (or situations like that).

For the published specs, click on the Support tab at the top of the page, select the "Tech Specs" link, and search for your model of MacBook Pro. For specifics about your system, run System Profiler, which will be in Applications -> Utilities folder on your MBP.

How do I keep the games he put on there (like Angry Birds) but get rid of a "restrictions Passcode" he refuses to give me and get his AppleID off of there and most importantly take his ability to stalk me via GPS tracking away?

You'll have to restore the device, but with out the restricions passcode you'll have to put it into recovery mode first.

Yes, it's seems like a poor design decision.
By putting the date on the line below the Note title in the Notes Index, the app shows half the number of notes per page AND if you have a large number of notes, it takes twice as long to stroll down.
I doubt the designer actually uses the app.

Dear Jean:
It sounds like you are trying to get your external monitor to act as the primary viewing screen. For example it would have your Doc, Icons, Etc. In order to make the external monitor the primary screen you have to:
Open System Preferences.
Choose the Displays Icon
There will be several tabs to choose from pick Arrangement
Drag the toolbar to desired display

If you created as an Exchange account on the iPhone (not IMAP or POP) and you have Push on it should all work smoothly; Reading a message on either client should mark the other read (it does on mine). Try deleting the account from the phone, rebooting the phone (to clear out old settings), then go to Settings/Mail,Contacts,Calendar, add an account and tap Microsoft Exchange and add the account back.
There is a fundamental difference between BB and iPhone that you should be aware of; on the BB you do not sync directly with Exchange; you sync with the RIM server which then syncs with your Exchange server. The iPhone syncs directly with Exchange using Microsoft's ActiveSync protocol. So in some ways they will behave differently. But ActiveSync should manage marking messages as read correctly.

I am totaly confused by eircom and efibre.......last year I was in arrears with eircom to the tune of( as I thought) of €357.66and I was disconnected but in the long run I got a huge bill in my door of €656.48 , when I had to the money to pay the original amount, I was put through to efibre who told me that remaining amount of €298.77 shouldnt have been on my account and they would take it off I was also given a new account and phone number. Thanks Tracey,I got a letter from the debt collectors BCW on Thursday to say if I didn't respond to that letter within 5 days they were going to take legal proceeding against me. 10 minutes from receiving the letter I got a call from BCW to say that eircom had been in touch with them to say the issue has been resolved and that I don't owe the money,I am now waiting on a letter from BCW to tell me same so as I have it in writing. Her camera roll photos and videos would be included in her backup. Restoring her backup to the iPad should recover them.
Start by creating a current backup of your iPad that you can restore your data from later. It's faster if you do this on your computer using iTunes; if you can't, create a backup in your iCloud account. If you can back up to your computer, do this by connecting the iPad to your computer, opening iTunes and going to File>Devices>Back Up. Then go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases.
Then erase the iPad and restore her iCloud backup as explained here: https://support.apple.com/kb/ph12521. When it's done, import the recovered photos and videos to your computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.
Then erase the iPad again and restore the backup you made earlier, either from iTunes or from iCloud depending on where you backed it up.
If you want the photos back on the iPad, put them in a folder and sync them to your iPad by selecting the folder on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and syncing. If you want to videos back on your iPad, import them to your iTunes library (File>Add to Library), then sync them to your iPad from the Movies tab of your iTunes sync settings. You will then find them in the Home Movies section of the Videos app on your iPad. Just so you are aware, photos that you sync to your iPad can only be removed later by syncing them off your iPad (by deselecting the folder on the Photos tab and syncing again). They can't be deleted on the iPad itself.
