How do i get acrobat8 i bought as a download on new laptop

how do i transfer my adobe acrobat8 to my new laptop. i bought it as a download.

Hi picopappy,
As Michael indicated, if you purchased the software from Adobe, you can log into the Adobe website with the Adobe ID (email address) you used when you purchased the software to download it.  However, Acrobat 8 isn't really compatible with Windows 7.  Some users have been able to get it to work properly, but it was never a supported configuration for the software.

  • How do I get my itunes from external hard drive onto new laptop?, how do I get my itunes from external hard drive onto new laptop?

A few years ago I was running out of room on my Windows laptop so I followed instructions on how to move all of the music to an external hard drive and then had all music added to the always connected external hard drive instead of the laptop. That old laptop has now died and I have a new one and need to get the music added to the new one. Is it as simple as just plugging the external hard drive into the new computer and importing or is there more I need to do? I'm just really not sure what to do and nervous about doing the wrong thing. The old computer was running Windows XP and the new one has Windows 8. I have downloaded iTunes to the new laptop. Please note that I am not super savvy so if anyone could provide easy to follow steps that would be great. Thank you!! Please let me know if you need more information. Thanks again!

  • How to I get my shuffle & iPod to work on my new laptop....

My old desktop died and my songs are songs?
    1) How do I get my shuffle & my iPod to connect to my new laptop when it used to be assigned to my old dead desktop?
    2) How do I get my purchased iTunes songs from Apple since I cannot get them from the dead desktop computer?
    Thanks,
    Bill Fee

*How do I get my shuffle & my iPod to connect to my new laptop when it used to be assigned to my old dead desktop?*
1). Connect your iPod to your computer (this won't work for the shuffle by the way which doesn't have the same manual setting the larger iPods have, you don't actually say what model the other iPod is). If it is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod.
2). When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that will let you use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button. Also when using most of the utilities listed below your iPod needs to be enabled for disc use, changing to manual update will do this by default: Managing content manually on iPod and iPhone
3). Once you are safely connected there are a few things you can do to restore your iTunes from the iPod. There are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. Have a look at the web pages and documentation, this is just a small selection of what's available, they are generally quite straightforward. You can read reviews and comparisons of some of them here:

If you have any iTunes Music Store purchases the transfer of purchased content only from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. You'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer
There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide
4). Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync.
5). I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive
*How do I get my purchased iTunes songs from Apple since I cannot get them from the dead desktop computer?*
If your iPod still has the purchases on it then any of the methods above will let you transfer them back to the computer. However if they aren't on the iPod and if you didn't make a back-up of your purchases to restore from then I'm sorry to say that the policy on lost purchases is that you have to pay to download them again:
"Once a Product is purchased and you receive the Product, it is your responsibility not to lose, destroy, or damage the Product, and Apple shall be without liability to you in the event of any loss, destruction, or damage." iTunes Store: Purchased content can be downloaded only once
You could try contacting the iTunes Music Store Customer Service and you might be able to persuade them to sanction a second free download. There have been occasional reports in the iTunes forum of this happening, however just be aware that they are not under any obligation to do so. If you click on the link at the bottom of this page you'll be able to email your query: iTMS Customer Service

  • How do I get to my launchpad features after downloading a new app?

HHeelllppp!  Whenever I download a new app, my launchpad turns into a catalog of my apps and the apps normally shown by the launchpad (including the App Store) are nowhere to be found.  The only recovery I have found is a re-boot.  Where have the launchpad apps gone, and why does clicking on the launchpad icon in my sidebar give me just my own apps?  ???!!  ;-(

Hello Absdad, I regret to hear that you decided to return your new device!  Has the device now been received by the warehouse?  Have we submitted an inactive pricing request to attempt to get the old plan back?  I would be more than happy to discuss your options in more detail.

  • How can I get my email access back after downloading the new iTunes on my iPhone?

Yesterday I downloaded the latest iTunes 11.01.12 on my PC (Windows 7), then sync'ed to my iPhone G4.  Now when I try to access one of my email accts, I get the message: "The mail server "imap.gmail.com" is not responding..."  I have checked the acct info in Mail settings and all seems in order (IMAP Path Prefix is blank, Server Port is 993).  Strangely, my other email acct (also gmail) is working.  I have tried restarting, re-

  • How can I get my entire ipod content on to my new laptop since my desktop doesn't work anymore?

The motherboard went on my desktop and contained a whole lot of music gained from cds rather than purchased through itunes.  I need to get them off my ipod onto my laptop.

If your music collection was purchased from iTunes, you are in a good shape since that music is forever yours under your iTunes account. Therefore, after installing iTunes on your new computer, sign into your account and see all your music under "Purchsed". Then simply download it to be phisically present onto your computer (for free since you've already paid for it).
On the other hand if you happens to not be a sucker to waist money on iTunes and your collection was ripped from the internet (via torrents and such), you can follow this guide to transfer the music from ipod to computer. Hope it helps. Feel free to email me if you need further help.

Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not available in all countries; apps, books (not audiobooks), music, t.v. shows, and movies (some - not all studios have permitted this). Movies available in the USA only. Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later.  Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list, or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid.  Apple notes it is your responsibility to back up your purchases.

  • My Laptop was stolen. How can I get my photos from my iphone onto my new laptop that are in albums, not the camera roll?

I have photos in albums that are stored on my iphone. My laptop that I had everything backed up on was stolen. I would like to be able to re-sync my iphone with my new laptop (Windows 8) without losing the photos that are in my albums. I'd prefer not to have to individually email them all to myself and I have everything off the camera roll already. I would appreciate any and all help. Thanks.

Also, ALL of the photos were taken by my iphone.

Do you have the connent on your iPod iPhone or iPad?  If yes, just plug it into the new computer then go iTunes File -> Transfer Purchases. Then the files will go to your iTunes.  By the way, if you have non-purchased files to be transfered, you can try this iPod transfer program to help.
    Hope it helps.
