How do I get Adobe Acrobat to appear in the Conent Type listins under Tools/Options/Applications

I want PDFs to open in Acrobat within the browser and not open up the Acrobat application. The Firefox 4.0 Help lists the way to do this, but Acrobat does not appear in my list under Tools/Options/Applications, so I'm stuck with no answer

According to your description, you want to change the View report color in VS 2013. Right?
In this scenario, the button shows white text in a grey background because you select the
Dark in color theme. Please go to TOOLS->Options->General->Environment, we just need to change
Blue or Light.

A particular PDF file can have fonts embedded within it, or may refer to fonts installed in the operating system - but in either case it uses the Postscript name of the font, not the common name seen on menus. This ensures that when fonts are substituted or edits are made to the PDF file, the correct version and vendor are matched, not just the common name. Postscript names are unique, and often end with the initials of the vendor (LT = Linotype, MT = Monotype, etc.). "Times" on a font menu refers to the Linotype font "Times-Roman" (sold by Adobe and others), and "Times New Roman" refers to the Monotype font usually named "TimesNewRomanPSMT" (a Postscript font in a TrueType package, which is part of the standard set on Windows). They look the same from a distance, but internally they are different enough that a direct replacement is not normally possible. If you ever need to work out which has been used and cannot inspect the metadata, look very closely at the number "5" - in the Linotype font it has a tiny serif on the top right corner. Embedding a font into a file has no effect on Acrobat whatsoever (lisabritne, what you're saying makes no sense).

How do I have Adobe Acrobat 9.0 calculate the minimum of 10 fields BUT ignore the field if it is empty? Currently it counts blanks as 0 so when it comes up with the minimum it will always show 0 unless all 10 fields have values in them.

You could loop through the fields and add the non-blank values to an array, and use the Math.min method to get the minimum. Here's an example custom Calculate script:

You can get the screen size by using Dimension java.awt.Toolkit.getScreenSize().

I don't know if your on a Mac or a PC.
So you need to locate the Font cache file for Acrobat (make sure Acrobat is quit) and remove to Trash/Wastebasket.
and empty. The open Acrobat back up and the font cache file should rebuild. If your on a Mac the simpliest way is use a Utility called fontnuke and have it remove all Font caches.
Font cahces frequently corrupt as they are in constant use. Mayb Windows machines have something similar as Font Nuke.

Duplex is a property of the printer and by itself Acrobat cannot globally set the attribute.
You might create (install) a second instance of the printer and name it accordingly - "Duplex Printer"

HT2506 How do I get Adobe Acrobat to see/print pdf forms I've filled out in Preview

I've been working in Preview and filling out Adobe Acrobat created forms according to instructions from the help in Preview. However, whent these filled forms are submitted to someone and opened in Adobe Acrobat, they can neither see what I've filled out nor can it be printed (all that comes out is a blank form). How can I properly fill out the forms so that Acrobat can see and print the filled out forms.

Just as I suspected, Preview is mucking up the DD Form 1351-2 form. I filled it out, saved it in Preview and opened it in Acrobat Pro and the fields were blank. If I open it in Reader, I can fill out the form, save it, and open it in Acrobat Pro just fine, all data intact.
I don't know why Preview does such a bad job with forms - I just know that as an AcroForms designer, I always suggest using Reader to fill in forms.
BTW, I also tried it in Windows 7, using Reader and Acrobat Pro, and it worked as expected.
