How do I get Adobe Professional 8 to work with Windows 7?

I have a new computer with Windows 7 on it and when I try to install Adobe Professional 8 it says I need a Windows Vista Adobe PDF.dill file. Where can I find this file? I do not have Windows Vista.

using compatibility mode when clicking on the installation file is your best option
and, if you need further help, what program are you trying to install? there is no adobe professional. you've omitted some words that specify the product.

Need help getting Adobe OnLocation CS3 to work with windows 7 64 bit. The program installed ok and the S/N took.
The program does record video and audio HDV M2T.
The problem is video doesn't display or play back on the monitor component @ 16:9 or 720 p. 4:3....
The scopes respond as do the audio components when recording. (with a blank monitor component).
The video does play back on my system no problem.
Any ideas?

Just signed up here, ot the brightest with tech stuff. I'm trying to get my Powershot A620 to work with Windows 7. I'm guessing there's drivers I need to down load ? Will they be on the Canon website or on this help site ?

If you need photo software and don't have any you can download Canon software here.

But if you already have software you use there is nothing special you need. Ether connect the camera using a USB cable or remove the SD card from the camera and use a card reader (either an external one or the computer may already have one built in.)
If you decide to connect the camera via USB you don't need a driver; its built into W7.

Previous suggestions have not worked to allow use of Adobe Flash Player with Windows 8.1 Pro.

But the problem is more likely IE11 itself. Aside from Vista, it's just about the worst garbage Microsoft has unleashed on the computing public, ever. They intentionally altered the "User-Agent Strings", which websites use to identify the browser and provide the proper content for it. Some sites ID it as a Gecko browser (Firefox), while others ID it as a Webkit browser (Opera or Safari). Problem is... when the site ID's it as either of those, the browser specific content supplied REQUIRES the correct browser engine... which IE doesn't have and never will. So, it then becomes an "unrecognized browser". The pages can't recognize the browser, so they don't recognize any of the plugins, like Flash Player. So far, Microsoft has made NO indication that they have any plan to fix it soon. In fact, since they though this was a great idea, I seriously doubt they'll change it at all.
Microsoft's recommendation is to use Compatibility View for affected pages, and "pretend" you're using a different browser. Trouble with that is... it's seen limited success at best, and you have to individually enable it for EVERY page that has problems.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.

ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in.

I have a Scanjet 5200c that worked well with Windows XP. When I went to Windows 7, it stopped working. HP support said they did not support this machine with a driver for Windows 7. Why not? How can I get this perfectly good scanner up and running again?

I do not work for HP, but I have experience with driver development. Once printers/scanners get older, it becomes too difficult to continue updating the driver. There are newer printer/scanners that have to be supported. Drivers are difficult to develop and maintain. It is not as simple as going to the code and changing the model or OS version.

Apparently Acrobat Pro 7 is not compatible with Windows 8.1 Pro X64. I am trying to save a web page to pdf but this feature does not work in Windows 8.1 Pro. Is there a patch or update that will fix this problem?

It might be possible to get a lot of it working, but you will have to install a separate PS driver and rename it Adobe PDF and set the port to File. The print process is then to print to the Adobe PDF printer and then open the created file in Distiller to complete the process. I have been successful with this on a Win7, 64-bit system, but not tried it on a Win8 system. You are pretty much on your own if problems arise, unless you are willing to try wild suggestions that we might give (guesses really).

For MS Visio (any version) only the appropriate version of Acrobat *PRO* provides PDFMaker for Visio.
For Visio 2013 specifically you must have Acrobat XI Pro (updated to at least 11.0.1).

After hours restoring phone and resetting all my accounts and settings the Bluetooth is back on. Not sure how long this will last. In regards to AirPlay taking over, I had to drive far enough from our wifi signal to allow the Bluetooth to take back the audio. Its working for now.

You need to pair the iPad with the bluetooth keyboard. I don't understand how you could have used it even once without doing this process (unless whoever sold the iPad and keyboard to you did this for you?) but perhaps it has somehow become unpaired. There should be instructions with the bluetooth keyboard on how to pair it with an iOS device like your iPad, but the general process is pretty straightforward as described here:

If you can't find the pairing instructions/user guide that came with the keyboard then look on the manufacturer's website, they'll almost certainly have downloadable User Guides containing the info on pairing.
