How do I get all my music, apps, photos, and everything else onto my new ipod?

Please Help! I just bought the new iPod touch (5th generation ios 6.1.2) and I'm trying to get all of my data from my 4th generation iPod touch onto it. So, I went on Itunes and backed up my old iPod and synced it, but when I plug in my new iPod it doesn't transfer any of my stuff . I'm getting really frustrated so please help.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

That won't do the trick. You really need the computer. That way all your data and files can be backed up when you backup the computer.
Your only other option, which is much more limited, is using iCloud:

If you mean iTunes libraries or computer user accounts, just create one. To make a new iTunes library on Windows, launch iTunes with the Shift key held down and choose Create Library.

I can not open my itunes. I'm afraid if I delete it and reinstall a new itunes that, when I plug my phone in it will delete everything on my phone. Then I will have lost everything music, photos, apps, etc. because I have deleted my old itune.

Uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes won't affect its library. Back it up anyway.

The guy at att told me that icloud would sync everything i had in my notes, calendar, and text messages to my new phone, but it only synced some of my notes, none of my messages, or calendar info.

Your music will only be where you put it. It will not magically appear on a new computer.
Copy everything from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.
If for some reason you cannot do this, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an iphone: Without syncing - File>Transfer Purchases

You should regularly transfer anything purchased on the ipod to your computer and include it in your regular backup of your computer.

When you add a song under one of the sign ons it doesn't add it to all 3 libraries. Before I updated to LION, We had one main library with all the songs we bought, imported from cd's etc. Then any of the three of us could add it to our own IPOD instead of buying the song agin. It is one house, one IMAC. It was working fine under Leopard.

The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.

Since we downloaded the latest version of iOS on our iPad and iPhone, and synchronized our music collection in the Cloud, we can no longer see on our iPad and iPhone the music from our CD's that we have on our home computer's iTunes library. We can only see music in the iPhone and iPad library that have been purchased on iTunes. How can we get all our music from our computer's iTunes librbary visible on the iPhone and iPad? Thanks, Nick

FYI: It's a laptop because it sets on top of your lap.

Itunes was deleted? Or your itunes library was deleted?
If it was just itunes, then your music should still be there. Just reinstall itunes.
Otherwise just use your backup copy of your comuter to put everything back.
