How do I get all my music from my iPhone onto my new macbook pro's iTunes? My old laptop is broken.

I recently purchased a Macbook Pro as my old Macbook broke. I want to transfer all the music from my iPhone onto the iTunes of my new Macbook Pro, however I cannot do this by moving the tracks onto an external hardrive from the old computer to the new as the old is broken. I've looked at lots of different forums etc. on the internet and I've still had no luck! Please help me !

the appletv will not display your movies in folders.
you could change the tags in itunes to include the genre in the "show" field in the "video" tab. this would replicate the view you want, but you will need to tag all your movies to do this.

The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The syncis one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
You should copy everything from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.

Syncing is NOT limited to purchases music. You do not need to purchase anything, just learn how to select and sync (not upload) thru iTunes. What does "not let me upload" mean? What is occurring when you try and what are you doing?

Easy, drag all that music onto your desktop, go to your email and attach them on the email and send it to yourself, then send, go to the other computer, login to your email and go into the email u sent yourself and download the music files.

Idealy the way to go is to transfer your music from your old computer to the new one and then sync with it.

Hi, I just bought a new MacBook Air, but when i plugged my iPhone in, it said it would delete all of my music when i sinced. Does this mean that all of my music will be wiped from my phone or just the songs that weren't bought using my iTunes? I also have a PC with the same songs on it.
