How do i get an audio book to show the progress bar?

I want to get back to a specific point in an audio book to listen over again without having to listen to an entire chapter. I used to be able to drag the bar that appeared under the title of the book, but that bar is not there any more. I have set it up in options as audio book, remember place etc, but the progress bar has disappeared from all my books.

Audiobooks are not currently available for repeat download from iTunes in the Cloud. Your audiobook should have transferred to your iTunes library when you synced your device.
You will need to contact support through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

You will need to connect your iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over to your computer (that will copy PDFs and epubs that are in the iBooks app, not just actual ibooks), and you can then sync them to your iPhone. Or you might be able to open each PDF in iBooks on your iPad and use the share icon to email them to yourself and then use 'open in' in the Mail app on your iPhone to copy them to its iBooks app (if the PDF is protected then you may not get the email option via the share icon).
The Settings > iBooks > Sync Collections setting doesn't copy items between devices, it just means that it a bookor PDF is on both devices and you move it into a collection on one device then it will be moved into the same collection on the other device

How should we show the progress bar in our forms screen so we can see how much work is remaining?
For example if we are performing some task through forms, what code and on which trigger we placed this code in order to show the progress bar that inform us about the task in progress.

ThanksPJC progress bars are shown on the form and forms support progress bar and coding itit's relatively easy.
If I were you I would take Francois' advice and type in "progress bar" in the lil search box :)

MacBook Pro, 2012, can't get past boot up screen and the progress bar never fills.

Any thoughts on why or a different command that I can try while powering up?
I press the power button, and it dings per usual. Then the first gray screen pops up and it starts spinning. Then a progress bar appears. It fills about a quarter of the way, and then the screen goes black and the computer shuts down.
Any thoughts on why this might be happening and anything I can try to help boot it back up would be great. Thanks!

The progress Bar appears when your Boot drive will not mount. It runs a task similar to Disk Utility (Repair disk) and shows you the progress. It is normal for the bar to only fill less than a third of the way.
If your Mac then shuts down, this is because the Repairs could not be completed. Your Boot Drive (either the mechanism or the contents) is in trouble.
Try booting to Recovery Mode, and attempt to make the repairs form there.
If no joy, buy a drive that could replace your Internal drive, and an enclosure to place it in while you Install a new copy of Mac OS X form fundamental sources. Making a complete copy of a drive you know to be damaged is not generally helpful, but may be needed later if you do not have a Backup.
The advice to erase your drive should be ignored. It was invented long ago, when drives cost US$1000, and the prize was getting the drive mechanism working again.

I have downloaded an audio book on iTunes, and I have searched my phone and I can't figure out how to listen to this book on my phone. When I look I can see the book is in my iTunes account on my computer. Is there a specific app I need for my phone? I have iBooks and the book is not there. I downloaded an app called Audible which is supposed to recognize my iTunes and it does not.
Help please. I'm not tech savvy and this is so frustrating.

Have you synced it from your computer's iTunes to your iPhone ? Audiobooks are a one-time only download from the store, so they need to synced or copied to any other devices or computer's that you want it on.
If not then it should be in the Books (Audiobooks if using OS X Mavericks on a Mac) part of your computer's iTunes library, and you should be able to sync it by connecting your phone and using the Books tab (in a similar way to how you use Music tab to sync music).
It should go into the Music app on your phone - when you have audiobooks on your phone you should get an Audiobooks option/tab in the Music app.
The iBooks app is just for ebooks, and the Audilbe app is for audiobooks that you buy direct from audible.com

If iTunes purchases then transfer them to your iTunes library:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
The sync to your iPhone. Make sure that in the Books pane in iTunes for the iPhone the box that says sync audio books is checked.

When I click on a link that opens a new firefox window, the new window shows a navigation toolbar that does not include the back, forward, stop, and home buttons (it only shows the internet address box). The location bar drop-down list shows items based on visited count (bonus points and frecency: frequency and recency) and if you have visited other URLs more often then those will replace other websites.
