How do I get ATV2 and my iTunes to work together on MB Pro?

When I first set up my ATV2, I remember it to work along with my MB Pro/iTunes (meaning when I was streaming music to my ATV2, it also streamed to my MB Pro).....Now it does not. What did I inadvertently change?.....also a button appeared in the lower right corner of my iTunes that allowed me to choose multiple speakers (i.e. MB Pro and TV).....It no longer appears either.

There's the sidebar one on the far end, then in the middle there's the 'start genius' and beside that is the airplay icon. All on the bottom right side. What version of iTunes are you running?

Your new router may not correctly handle Bonjour data required by AirPrint. Contact Frontier to correct the router's setup. A firmware update may be required.

Without a backup, the use of iTunes or the use of iCloud, your only choice is to restore the device as new to remove the passcode.

First, note that you've only got 14 days to return, and that's only at the Apple Store. If you bought it elsewhere, different rules may apply. As for restoring it, I don't think that's necessary. The Apple Store techs will restore it regardless of what you do, since they can't know what condition you've left it in.
Also, note that the Mac is also capable of running Windows. If you want a Mac, there's no reason to return it just because of one program. Get a copy of Parallels, which lets you run Windows right alongside all your Mac apps, or use Boot Camp to install Windows on a second partition on your hard drive and boot directly into Windows.

Do the songs play in iTunes? Try playing one first, if the computer isn't authorised, you'll be asked to authorise it and the songs should sync after that. How can I get an audio-in connector to work with a MacBook Pro (Mid 2012)?

I have a Plantronics headset with two cables: audio in and audio out (like the two connectors on the old MacBooks). It is pretty old and so I assumed it was for those. I have tried to get it to work with my mid-2012 MacBook Pro, but the microphone (audio in [yes, it does have a picture of a microphone on it]) cable isn't recognized by the Mac. It thinks it is headphones, and unsuccessfully tries to play sound through it. The other cable (audio out), however, successfully receives sound and plays it through.
I hope that makes sense, and I would appreciate any help .

I installed Personal Oracle 8i on my PC under Windows 98 in a directory "d:\ORAWIN95". When I attempt to install Forms 6i, I get the message:
"The location specified, "d:\ORAWIN95", is already used as an Oracle home for "Oracle 815 Production". It cannot be used as an Oracle home for "win95".
Can someone tell me what my problem is and how to correct it.
During the installation of Personal Oracle 8i, I was asked to choose a destination and was given two choices:
1. ORACLE_HOM (c:\orawin95)
2. ORACLE_HOME (d:\orawin95)
I thought I had deleted all Oracle references from my PC but apparently not.
I chose the same oracle home to install Forms 6i that I used to install Personal Oracle 8i.
What do I need to do to get Forms 6i installed and working with Personal Oracle 8i?

you need to firstly delete all references to oracle on your pc then start with a clean install(after checking in windows registry and deleting all referencves to oracle, also in aoutoexec.bat file) install into 2 separate directories, 8i into oracle and forms into another directory, then configure using sql net easy config

How do i get multiple tcp/ip modbus to work together

Hi All,
I have got a system that uses 2 identical Serial (rs-485) Modbus libraries on 2 seperate ports.
I can can put the 2 libraries on the same com port as long as I put them on different addresses.
Unfortunately the same doesn't appear to be true for TCP/IP.
The best I can do is multiple masters but only 1 slave and they all have to be on the same address.
Add a second library on a different address and it all goes bad.
Any suggestions/solutions?

If adding as a slave, configure the master device with the IP address of the NIC that connects the LV MyComputer target to the device, and you can host multiple slaves on that same IP and separate them using the slave address (as the dialogs you posted show). So long as your master device allows you to configure the unit id.
Not sure I understand exactly what your dilemma is, but the nice thing about ModbusTCP (IMHO) is the support for multiple masters.
As you may have already suggested the serial bus address is replaced by the IP address. However, there is still a provision for including the old serial bus address for use in gateways (when many serial slaves are put 'behind' a single ModbusTCP gateway). Usually this is not even used by ModbusTCP devices, but some legacy devices still require this to be set to a certain value to work.
The NI Modbus function blocks include this in an input called the MBAP header. Within this input is the unit identifier which is the old serial bus address (I recently had to add this for a power quality meter that refused to talk unless this was set to 1).

Unit Identifier—This field is for intra-system routing purposes. It typically communicates to a MODBUS serial line slave through a gateway between an Ethernet TCP-IP network and a MODBUS serial line. The MODBUS client sets this field in the request, and the server response must return this field with the same value.

Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID, tap the ID shown, sign out, sign back in using the alternate ID.

When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. I would contact Apple under your warranty. I doubt you received a new iPod since Apple's policy is to give you a refurbished iPod.
