How do I get back an imovie project that shows up in the Project library but doesn't show up in imovie itself?

Worked on an i-Movie project yesterday but when opened i-Movie this morning, the project showed a date of January 13 as last modified date and the project was completely empty. When I look in Project Library, I can see the project from yesterday. How do I get it back into my i-Movie so it will open. Thanks.

It's best to report this to Apple, as the more they hear from us the more likely we'll get a fix (hopefully). There is probably a common issue with this, but I'm struggling to think of what may have triggered the problem. Was it a "recent" update to iMovie or OS X Mountain Lion, or perhaps another updated app conflicting with iMovie?
To report the problem to Apple, in iMovie's menu click on iMovie > Provide iMovie Feedback.

How do I get back audiobook Metadata fields that iTunes 12 has removed?

The Audiobooks Get Info window in iTunes 12 appears be lacking fields that previously existed unless you had them filled in. I can’t find a way to access the ‘missing’ fields - either to add them back or fill them in. Example - I previously used Author as the one who wrote the book and Album Artist at the voice who reads the book (JK Rowling vs Jim Dale), each of those offering a different Sort category I should be able to select by. But if I didn’t have it filled it when I converted to iTunes 12, I can’t do it now! Same thing with Year. I can make the List View show a Year column, but if it wasn’t previously filled it, I can’t figure out how to add it. Clicking in the blank under the Year column doesn’t highlight it to be filled in and Get Info view won’t offer Year as a Field (it’s not listed under the Add Field drop down menu at the bottom of Get Info window either). I even tried going to a book with everything filled in and choosing Always Show Current Fields from the Add Field drop down, hoping it would allow those fields on all the books, to no avail. It feels like Apple is restricting our ability to manipulate the Metadata in our libraries so that they don't best function how us users have set them up. First iBooks and now Audiobooks in iTunes. Any suggestions?

what exactly are you trying to do? What does the purchase history in iTunes have to do with getting Snow Leopard? What do you mean by "don't want to re-purchase OS all over again to get back to Snow Leopard"?

You can try something such as Data Rescue 3 to see if you can undelete the files - I've had good luck with it and can recommend it. You may or may not be able to recover your files, depending primarily on whether the files have been overwitten or not.

Hello, I own the Creative Suite CS6, which comes with Acrobat X.
I must have hit an update button, because now I have Acrobat XI installed on my computer, and every time I want to use Acrobat, it keeps telling me I have to buy it!
After spending thousands of dollars on CS6 already, I just want to get back my copy of Acrobat X and not have to spend any more money.
Has anyone experienced this issue and any solutions?

The combo update may replace anything you have inadvertently deleted.

You can reapply it over the top of any previously downloaded version. I see that your profile says 10.6.8.
Then software update to pick up any new security, iTunes updates.

I deleted a add-on that I downloaded because I felt like it wasn't working anymore.
Well, now I kinda want it back. I've tried everything in order to get it back. I've even uninstalled Mozilla firefox and downloaded it again to see if that would work, it didn't.
I'd be really happy if you could give me an answer to this problem, is there any way for me to get it back?

How do i get back my garageband songs that are only on icloud?

Yesterday i enabled icloud in garageband and upliaded a couple of songs. It worked as it should until i opened it today and found that a song has a green arrow pointing down in its top right corner. I tapped on it, but after getting a grey overlay nothing happened. I checked and the is on icloud, but icant get it back. I alo dont have just 2g ipod and a windows 7 pc, so o other apple products.
If anyone has the same problem and found a solution i'd appreciate the help.

I have the same problem too with two songs which are in the same state. Mine also happened when I was uploading to iCloud and GarageBand crashed during the upload.
It's really annoying as these songs were from live instruments plugged into my iPad and I was using iCloud as a backup but now it's lost the entire song.
I've tried turning off iCloud and getting duplicates of iCloud songs copied to my iPad and then enabling iCloud again and that didn't fix it.
I'm currently downloading the latest patch release of GarageBand to see whether installing that version (which apparently fixes the problem in the first place) will help my songs magically reappear.
Feel I have nothing to lose as I can't get to the songs ........

I have installed upgraded itunes, upgraded my Iphone operation system to 5.1, and installed Icloud. This is where the problems all began.
Icloud and I have everything (contacts, calendar events, photos) so messed up, it would take a Apple Surgeon to fix it all. Is there a way to start over and go back to syncing my ipad, and iphone with itunes....it was sooooo easy and all units were the same.
If I connect today, USB to computer and itunes, it will sync however add duplicates everywhere? I just wanna go home ! Removing Icloud from all three devices, Computer, Ipad 2, and Iphone 4

Pictures are not stored in iTunes.
Any pictures taken with the device, like with any other digital camera, are designd to be copied off the device to the computer on a regular basis. Via iTunes, pictures that the user chooses to have on the device can be synced back.
As Ralph stated, updating iTunes will not affect the media in the library. That being said, it has always been very basic to maintain a backup of important files. If you do not currently have a backup of your important files, I would strongly encourage you to make one.
