i bought final cut pro and i was stupid and deleted imovie 08.... i need it back for a project at school and was wondering if there is a way besides reseting my mac back to the original factory ****...i don't wanna lose all my files

Do you have your original install disks for OSX? (assuming iLife was pre-loaded with your new Mac.)
If so, boot up with the install disk in the drive. You should not have to reinstall. You can pick the Utilities menu, and it should allow you to reinstall iMovie.
If this does not work for you, there is a third-party program called Pacifist that will enable you to install iMovie from the OSX install disks.

You can't put music directly onto your iPod from a memory stick. You can, however, get iTunes to recognize the tracks on the stick without having to copy them to the computer. Go to the iTunes Advanced preferences and uncheck the option to "Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library". Then use the Add to Library command or drag the tracks into the iTunes window. iTunes will recognize the track files on the memory stick and allow you to sync them to the iPod. Note that when you remove the memory stick, iTunes will of course then not be able to play nor sync the tracks until you put the stick back in. It may therefore be better to just clear some space on your computer's hard drive.

My contacts show groups from both my Mac and from iCloud.

connect the iPhone to the mac, go to iTunes, select the iPhone, in the info tab uncheck the option to sync your contacts. sync now.
Make sure you do a backup(of the iPhone and Mac address book) before you do this. you might need to play a bit with it. If you mess up you will be able to just restore.
i had to try several things before i got the proper iCloud sync working without having to deal with duplicate contacts.

here is what happened:
I have been using an iPhone App (Audio Memos Free - The Voice Recorder) to record song ideas (I am a songwriter). I have been using it for years.
I backed up my iphone to itunes, and backed up my mac on Time Machine. After a month or so I did a fresh OSX install on my mac, copied all of my files back from Time Machine into my mac, and tried to set up Time Machine. I was not able to do so, so I had to format the Time Machine Backup disk and doing a "fresh" mac Time Machine Backup.
After a week or so, my iphone asks me something like "you do not possess the rights for one or more applications". do not know what i did, but after 1 minute my iPhone was wiped out of all my apps and app contents. I had also the icloud app sync, so i did not worry, recovered from icloud notes, contacts, and all other things. so i did another backup to itunes.
Now i discover icloud did not recover or save the "Audio Memos Free" app content. I know the data are hidden into the Time machine Backup HD, but i do not know where to search for the itunes backup in it.
I know it is in library, but library won't show up.
Any help would be much appreciated.
PS there is a chance that, even without a data recovery, my latest itunes backup was containing these songs, but i do not know how to fish that out of the Time machine drive.

The panel is showing you the default iPhoto Library that has been created when iPhoto prompted you to create a new photo library.
And iPhoto does not seem to recognise any other library as iPhoto library. You did check the Trash, didn't you?

Download and run Find Any File to search for a file with "ThumbJPGSegment" in the file name. These are files common to all versions of iPhoto libraries.
FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't like invisible folders, system folders and packages. If there's a library hiding somewhere on your hard drive FAF will find it.

If you did not backup the contents to iCloud, there is no way to recover material from a lost/stolen iOS device. You have to have it in your possession to get material off the iPod.
