How do I get back my small icon for one click completion of my name and address etc. I lost it when I got back my web address bar

I was getting frustrated that I had no address bar to put in an address and go straight to the page, but in restoring that I have lost my small icon which I clicked on when I wanted to complete all my personal data on the many sites such as the council, shopping sites etc. It used to fill in my name, address, telephone number, email address, etc. It was a small square firefox icon. I am using a Toshiba Laptop, with Windows Vista operating system

I don't know where you are getting '''Ctrl + Q''' from - that extension uses '''''Alt + J''''' to trigger the 'autofill' feature when the cursor is in the first form field.

Are you on 10.6.8 or Lion? It should have been placed there automatically during the install; otherwise, simply go to your Applications folder and drag the icon to the dock.

Stop Lost Mode or change your contact info

Was that iTunes' safe mode as opposed to Windows' safe mode? iTunes safe mode is invoked by holding down CTRL+SHIFT immediately after clicking the icon to launch iTunes and continuing to hold until this message pops up:
Click continue, then close iTunes and reopen. With luck iTunes now opens normally every time.

Despite all the snarky and misleading replies you most certainly CAN quickly and easily get a refund for an accidental purchase, and Apple has provided a way to request refunds for exactly this reason.
- Go to your Account information page in iTunes
- Go to your purchase history
- Click "Report a Problem" at the bottom
- Then click "Report a Problem" next to the app you accidentally purchased.
- This will bring you to a browser page with a pull down menu where you can select "Didn't Mean To Purchase This Item".

Since Apple explicitly offers the "Didn't Mean To Purchase This Item" in that menu they are obviously well aware of the fact that many such instances occur.
Since they don't have a confirmation screen or pop up a single inadvertent click could easily lead to a costly unintended purchase, and if they didn't offer just as easy a way to get a refund they'd be mobbed with suits.

I understand that having a preset text that you did not want can be a bit frustrating when sending out text. To clarify, is the preset message like a signature at the end of your text? Does this only happen in text messages or when your send emails also? Is your SMS delivery confirmation on? Messaging>Settings>SMS delivery confirmation.

Are you referring to the Dock?
If so, go to the Apple menu > Dock and select "Turn hiding off".
If you are referring to individual icons on the Dock, right-click or Control-click on the icon, and in the Options submenu in the popup that appears, select "Keep in Dock".

Disabled Yahoo icon. How do I get rid of the icon without hiding it?

Okay so on my previous BB I had my work and Yahoo e-mail set up. Later I disabled the Yahoo e-mail and I remember then it was tough to figure out how to do that and delete the icon. I figured it out though.
Now I synced to my new 8900 and the Yahoo icon is there again. It's not receiving or sending e-mail which is fine, but how do I get rid of the icon without having to hide it? I want it gone forever!
