How do i get back my songs
my ipod nano said it had no songs on it, yet it said i had songs on itunes (it said 1.13GM with a orange bar that said "other"). then i unclicked "manually manage music", it then showed 1.82GB with a blue bar that says "audio", then 1.13GB with the orange bar that says "other". yet i only have 111 songs out of 305 songs...so i wonder what the "other" is. how do i get back my songs and make my ipod go back to normal??
you could reset your ipod???
or you could plug it in...wait for itunes to come up, click you ripod name in the devices column on the left hand side of the screen and click restore, other than that i have to clue...

How do i get back the songs that were on my iphone before i used autofill in itunes?
I'm still not that good at using itunes so when i connected my iphone and chose 'autofill', i assumed that it would just add the songs that i didn't already have - but it actually replaced all the songs.
Now all the songs that i originally have on my iphone, have been removed and replaced with what was in itunes.

I had my ipod 4gen itunes on a computer that crashed. With the new computer I update it to the lastest version. I hit the wrong transfer button and lost everything. How do I get my old songs, apps, and money back from my old account, if thats possible?

Likely, because you are now using a different Apple ID and iTunes account. Return to using your old Apple ID and authorize only after you have de-authorized your old computer.
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.

How do I get albums and songs I have purchased back on my devices? They show up in my purchased list but when I click on them a little circle shows up with an x in it and it won't let me do anything with it. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
The Get Info. fields show up gray if the files is locked and iTunes knows it can't edit the file. Make sure the files are not marked as read only and, if necessary grant both your account and system full access to all files and subfolders of your media folder.
You can set Part of a Compilation for multiple tracks from the Options tab of Get Info.
