How do I get black side bars on a full screen photo in iPhoto 11. It was black in iPhoto 09 and now it's a murky grey. I'm not talking about events or photo view where it's in preferences only full screen photo. Thanks

Go into iPhoto's Appearance preference pane and move the Background slider all the way to the left - black.

for some reason Firefox switched to full screen mode and i can't get out of it. I'm using Firefox on a tablet PC running windows 8.1 so using F11 or a mouse is not an option. at least i assume it's full screen mode. i can't see my bookmarks bar, my address bar, or even the windows task menu at the bottom of the screen, where my virtual keyboard is located at. i can get to the settings menu (i have Firefox set to start on a new page) but i can't find bookmark bar, address bar, or full screen settings there. I tried using IE11 to uninstall Firefox and reinstall it but it kept the setting. A "turn off full screen mode" button in the settings would be super helpful or a "force show address bar" button.

By the way, if Firefox is ''stuck'' in full screen mode, I think you could clear that by removing the settings file which stores window dimensions. Here's how:
Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using either

* type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter

the way that you do this is go to your control panel and adjust your screen resolution to one lower then when it asks if you want to revert back to the correct screen size say yes and then ever time you start windows form a complete reboot you have to do this step every time, its annoying I know but it is the only solution that i have found that works

In recent months, more and more downloaded PDF files are displayed on my Mac Pro without the command line at the top of the page. This makes using & managing the documents difficult, and sometimes impossible. How do I get my menu bar at the top of the page with no gaps? Whenever I move it there is a huge gap at the top of the page which I cant seem to get rid of, i posted about this before but none of the suggestions seemed to work for me. i'm not very good with css so im not really sure where to find the problem. There are generally gaps everywhere which looks at absolute mess, no clue how they got there and why, there is a huge gap underneath my menu bar too which wasnt there before. how do i get rid of this too? its probably some padding a or margin but no clue where.

Sounds like you are in Full screen mode. Run your cursor to the top of the page and click on the blue arrows on the right hand side.

You can modify the pref <b>keyword.URL</b> on the <b>about:config</b> page to use Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky" or Google's "Browse By Name".

How can I get a search bar added when trying to archieve emails in my IPhone's email app?

My IPhone email app is connected to my Outlook email system in which I have many archieved folders, when I want to place an email in my archieved folders on my IPhone I have to scroll a long list of archieved folders to find the right one, how can I get a search bar added to find it easier? My colleague' s Samsung has that function already and can't believe that Apple can be behind Samsung on this.
