How do I get bookmarks toolbars from my mac to show on my ipad?
I have both my mac and my ipad 'on' for safari in icloud but they don't match. I just want to be able to pin and ziplist right from safari on an ipad.....Help!
I'm running mavericks so it's not an option to sync bookmarks in iTunes.

My OS on the mac is 10.6.8 and so I apparently cannot use icloud and I can't update my OS due to some software that I use that cannot go beyond that yet. So I'm stuck. OK, then you need to go to Settings>iCloud on your iPad, and make sure that "Calendars", "Contacts", "Notes", and "Mail" are turned OFF. Then connect your iPad to iTunes on your Mac, and on the Device Profile screens select "Info". On that screen you can select your sync options once you have turned off those options in Settings>iCloud on your device.
You do not need to upgrade anything in order to do this. You are just syncing via the Mac and iTunes vs. syncing via iCloud. The link I provided you with before has the info on how to sync via iTunes vs. iCloud.

OS X Lion. 10.7. Your profile says your running 10.6.8, which is Snow Leopard. You need 10.7 to use iCloud with your Mac.

What kind of "material" are you talking about. If it's files that you stored on iDisk (part of MobileMe), then you won't have them available in iCloud - iCloud doesn't not offer a service similar to iDisk.

Actually, if you mean Apple/iTunes purchased content, you can go to the content area and go to Purchased... e.g. if you go to Movies > Purchased all the movies you have purchased through iTunes/Apple will appear there... ditto for Music, TV Shows, Music...

Just reinstalled 27 after a crash of my PC. I imported my bookmarks from my HTML, but can't get the Bookmarks Toolbar to go back to the top of the list of bookmarks, above Bookmarks Menu.

My old PC running Windows XP broke and was not repairable but we managed to salvage the drives. I have a new PC running Wondows 8.1 and have installed Firefox. Can you please tell me how I can get all my bookmarks, passwords etc. from the old disc onto the new Firefox. I have the old disc configured as an external hard drive so it can be read easily.
