How do i get contact photos to show up in imessage conversation on iPod Touch

I have an iPod Touch 4th generation running ios 5.0.1. When conversing through iMessages (Messages) on my iPad 2 small photos of my contacts show in the discussion window which is great because it helps to keep track of the conversation. However, on my iPod Touch I can't seem to get this feature to work. I have the photo associated with my contact but can't get it to show up in the message conversation. Is this feature not supported on the Touch? Is there any option to somehow track the conversation with a name/photo/avatar so that it's easier to see who you are talking to/who's talking?

Form looking at the Usrs Guides for the iPad and iPod, it appears that the iPod soes not have that featurel Likely because of the smaller screen size on the iPod.

If the phones are signed in with the same Apple ID under Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, then you should have the option to add that phone number under the same menu on the iPad.

Syning with iTunes is completely separate from iCloud, except that if you have elected to sync calendars and contacts with iCloud you cannot sync them with iTunes.

The answer is that the iCloud advertising in Danish speaks of restoring apps, books and music and shows this, and in small print / gray print adds that in some countries this is not available. The Danish copy does not say that in Denmark the service is unavailable (suppose the English copy in US spelling showed the service, but did not say that the service was unavailable in the US).

How do I get rid of this "other" category on my 32 gb iPod touch 5g?

I got this 32gb iPod Touch 5g last week. I realized that when I openned it, it had like 10 mb used from the other section on itunes.
Through the days, it's been getting bigger and bigger. I had like 1.1gb on this "other" section on itunes so I searched about it.
I tried unchecking and checking the open itunes when this ipod is conencted,worked the first time but in the next sync, it went up again.
Then I restored ipod from backup but didnt work.
Then I restored ipod to factory settings, without a backup, and it had like 500mb used on the "other" section
After that, I synced my ipod without putting anything on it, it increased 100mb more on this section.
I don't know what else to do. I downloaded iExplore as I've read that it helped people to get rid of that BUT I don't even know how to use it.
I'm not using the iCloud.
The only thing that I think messed it up was that I downlaoded a magazine on the newstand store, inside this app I got a free issue of a magazine, it was about 500mb but after a while I deleted the app with the magazine issue but I think it never went away from my iPod
I restored ipod to factory settings so is there a way that app is still stuck on it?
I tried to look it up on iExplroe but didn't find anything.
I also dont have ny email account on the ipod

Yesterday I was making all my music to 256 kbps and i was syncing all my music to my ipod and all of the sudden it changed to 250mb but then when it was done syncing it went to 750mb (which is what I got after restoring and all that).
Is this normal? Even if I remove my music, that "other" doesn't reduce at all.

How can I get beyond the Apple logo on the screen of my iPod Touch 6g?

Suddenly I'm unable to get beyond the Apple logo on my iPod Touch 6g (with latest OS). I noticed that battery life was drastically reduced (been using a portable external power supply), and I turned Airplane Mode "On" to conserve battery power. I'm not sure if this has contributed to my present "freeze."

Airplane mode should not have anything to do with your problem
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

After the update was verifying, it put me on the screen to connect my ipod to iTunes, and every time i try to reset the ipod, it wont let me out of the screen. I don't want to update to ios 8 anymore, because everytime I try to restore the iPod, an error occurs. I am basically being forced at this point to update it, is there any way back to normal ios 7? I am not seeing this problem currently with that URL. Firefox refreshes the site list from Google quite frequently. You can check for new files in the following folder and if they are not getting refreshed, I suppose you could try deleting them.

I updated my iPod touch to the new iOS 5 software. I did all the steps and selected 'Restore from iTunes Backup'. The next screen said 'Connect to iTunes'. I did that and it synced. However, it still says "Connect to iTunes". I ran the iTunes diagnostics and it said that it did sync and there is about half a gig of data on my iPod touch. But I still can't get past the "Connect to iTunes" screen. I even updated iTunes itself, but it still won't work. What do I do to get my iPod back? Surely I don't have to spend $30 plus to get all my apps and songs back. What can I do?
