How do I get Distiller to render other than the default page size

I have double ad I laid out in Illustrator and I need to make a PDF with the Bleed/Trim/Color bars/ETC. In the past I could print to postscript file and run it through distiller, but after distilling, only an 8x11 is created. I've gone into the edit settings and created another preset that has the default page size set to the size I need it, but it seems counterproductive and not what I'm used to. Is there something that I'm missing?
Note: When generating the PS file I've tried selecting both my printer ppd and the device independent option.

Working in Mac Illustrator CC. Acrobat XI

Drag the postScript File onto Distiller (Tried various preset settings)

How can I create a new skin (other than the default skins) for my Captivate Project?

Hi everyone,
I am working on a project where my client wants me to create a player skin which is completely different from the default themes that captivate has already. The design which client has shared with me contains in this way:
1. TOC - should be truncated and can be expanded by pressing "+" button against the Navigation Text. Its like opening and closing the menu bar using + and - buttons
2. Playback controls required by him are also not in the default skins.
I dont know, if there is any way to customize the skins to this level inside captivate.
Please help me out.

Unlikely, I'm afraid.
The LMS has no control over the playbar that pauses or plays the Captivate content.
In a Multi SCORM package, the LMS also may be showing a TOC in the SCORM player with links to launch the lesson modules. This TOC is in addition to the TOC inside the Captivate project file which gives access to sections of the module by jumping to slides that begin those sections. But the LMS doesn't usually give you any control over the look and feel or functionality of that TOC either.
If your client is adamant that they want complete control over these areas, then your best option may be NOT to build this course with Captivate but build it from the ground up with another tool. E.g. Flash, or Dreamweaver. Either way, that will add a lot more time and expense to the project. But if the client has the budget and is unwilling to budge on their requirement, then that's what I would be telling them to do.

How can I insert into a table other than the default table in a form

I want to insert into a table with some fields value of a form of another table. I have written insert code On successful submission of that form, but after submit it gives the following error
An unexpected error occurred: ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error (WWV-16016)
My code is like this

When do you get this error? Is it while running or while creating the form.
Here is a sample code which inserts a non-database column dummy into a table called dummy. This is done in successful procedure.

Please check in your case if the size of the local variable is enough to hold the values being returned.

BUT, the system admins have decided to revoke our FTP accounts (because they have their reasons), so I need to create a File Adapter that will drop the file on the file system of that ERP system, due to visibility I want to use the integrated Adapter Engine that comes with the ERP system, but need to know how/what I'm missing in setting up this scenario.

in order to use some other adapter engine you
have to install it first by dafault only one
(central) adapter engine is used and it is all
most clients need
if you'd like to use some other adapter engine

Thank you for your detailed question. It sounds like the real issue is pdf files. Are there any antivirus/firewalls that might be blocking this specific file type? or are there any preferences in your control panel that might be blocking this?

Keychain services API and dealing with Keychains other than the default

So I've been doing some C work with the Keychain services API. But I can't figure out how to set the Keychain for a function to something other than the default, which is set by passing NULL.
For example,
status = SecKeychainAddGenericPassword (
*NULL, // default keychain*

"SurfWriter", // service name

"MyUserAcct", // account name
passwordLength, // length of password
password, // pointer to password data

Deploying Crystal Reports 2008 on a website other than the default website

Hi,
We have an ASP.NET 2003 web application using CR 2008 as reporting tool.
To deploy the application, we are using the CR 2008 mergemodules.
If the application is installed into the default website, this works fine, but if another website is selected, the mergemodule still installs CR 2008 to the default website.
To overcome this problem, the crystalreportviewers12 virtual directory has to be created in the selected website.
But if the application is installed directly into the website, and not into a virtual directory of the website, problems occur, like images not showing up.
I would like to know if there exists documentation regarding deployment into websites, other than the default website and what configurations have to be done to make it work.

Please give an example how to do it or which InterfacePtr constructor doesn't call AddRef().

How can I change the default page size for the Adobe PDF Printer?

I have cases where I need to switch the default paper size from 8.5x11 to 11x17 via api for the Adobe PDF Printer and have not been able to find how this can be accomplished.

There is no Acrobat API for this, but so far as I know there doesn't need to be. The user can go change this from the Printers Control panel as needed. The Adobe PDF printer has some differences from regular printer drivers, but this isn't one of them.

How do I set the default page size for printing on a 8450.

A few days ago I printed some envelopes and now when I print from some programs, the print page size has remained the envelope size. I want to print from any program on letter size paper without changing the settings every time.

How do you get a table to flow onto the second page?

Since upgrading to Yosemite, I cannot figure out how to get my table to continue on to the second page. If you look at my screenshot, you can see that my table was so big so the whole thing was moved to the next page. I want it to remain on the 1st page and have additional rows continue on to the second page. In the previous version of pages, the column titles would also appear on the second page. Thank you very much for your help.

Go to View > Show Invisibles (Shift+Command+I).
This will display Paragraph marks (¶) at the end of each paragraph.
Delete the paragraph mark (¶) that is at the end of the paragraph before the table, i.e. just between the table and the paragraph.
This will bring the table surely just beneath the paragraph (text), I suppose.
