How do I get email to stop?

Help. I have 5,300 emails from this group. I have tried everything to get them to stop coming. I even called Apple techs, but they couldn't care less.
Can anyone tell me how to get this to stop?

Did you accidentally select to receive email notifications for the entire group? I did once and had the same thing happen. You can disable the email account (temporarily) that is getting the emails. Then log into the support forums. Go to the forum of interest and turn off email notifications.
Once that is done, the emails will stop and you will have to clean out your inbox (will take a bit of time as it is a manual process).

it is not going to my address book because a lot of these people are not in there. it is going to people that i emailed from years ago....and it IS connected to either my me.com email or a cox.net email - these are both connected. i'll try the password change on both of these mail accounts and see if that works. a lot of these people are getting three and four emails every day....

You might be able to trick iMovie by temporarily moving that project folder out of the following location:
Mac HD > Users > (your home folder) > Movies > iMovie Projects > (look for the name of the project that blew-up)
Drag that project folder to the Desktop for the time being. Launch iMovie and see if it still tries to create the Project Thumbnails. If it gets past any error messages or other house keeping, you can create a new project. Otherwise, quit iMovie. Drag that project folder from the desktop BACK into your iMovie Projects folder. Try launching iMovie again and see if it gets stuck generating the Thumbnails.

Choose Store > Sign In from the Store menu.

I bought a new Sony Vaio Laptop running Windows 8, 64bit, i7 processor. Everytime I open iTunes and then close out, the following message occurs: (i-tunes message - One or more applications are using the iTunes scripting interface. Are you sure you want to quit?) Then it starts counting down from 20 seconds unless I just click on the (Quit) button. How do I get this to stop? Please be specific, I am challenged when it comes down to computers.

This was extremely annoying for me, also. I started uninstalling unneeded Sony applications to try to narrow down the problem. It turned out not to be a Sony application... it is some functionality built into the bluetooth driver software package by Broadcom. Uninstalling the bluetooth package (via the control panel) takes care of the problem. Itunes also boots up way quicker. But uninstalling it will remove features related to bluetooth and nfc. For me, that isn't an issue, since I don't use them. Since you said you're "computer challenged" I would probably just send an email to sony complaining about the problem. They'll get in touch with Broadcom eventually (the manufacture of the drivers) and get the problem fixed.
Side note: the Broadcom package is huge... nearly 1GB in size. Which is crazy. I can't imagine what it does considering the size of it. Entire operating systems can take up less storage. Also, I have no idea how it starts an itunes plugin without placing it into the standard plugin directories.

My mom figures out anything rebellious that i do thru text. I know she reads my texts shes told me before, but she never gets on my phone. She said it isnt as easy as i think it is for her to read them... so shes saying she basically can only read certain texts, im guessing the ones that id rather her not to read. How is she doing this and how do i get her to stop????

Are you under the age of majority for your country (in the U.S., that's 18)? If so, then your mother has every right to do this.
However, if she has access to your Apple ID & password, then there's a lot of stuff she has access to, not just your iMessages.
Consider changing th password to your Apple ID as well as your personal email accounts. However, be advised that you run the risk of your mother discovering you've done so, and then simply taking away the iPhone.
Now if you're over 18 (or age of majority) then she does not have a legal right to do this invasion of your privacy. However, depending on who paid for your iPhone, for example, she may actually have the legal right to reclaim her property.
Choose wisely your course of action.

I understand that you constantly receive a prompt to enter your Apple ID password after an update. After an update, you may be required to confirm the password for multiple services. I am unsure what service is requesting your password as this sounds like one is missing. However, the prompt should inform you what service needs this information. I would recommend entering your Apple ID password for all services that are labeled iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch in the article below.

In Outlook, open the account you created for your hotmail/outlook email account. Make sure you have entered your hotmail user id and password. Then Save. Next time Outlook asks to use your keychain, click "Always allow". The message should go away.

Every time I get an someone accepts and ical invitation, the iCal app pops up over everything on my screen. I cannot find a way to turn off this behavior and it's amazingly disruptive.
I do still want to be notified about up-coming meetings, and I still want invitations emailed to me to populate in my calendar, and I still want ical to capture if people have responded to my events…I just don’t want my calendar to take over my screen every time they do.
There does not seem to be anything in preferences that addresses this.

It happens EVERY time I buy a new song, a new album, anything. Even if I buy an album and five minutes later, without closing itunes, buy another one, I have to go through this whole process.
