How do I get everything back
Help, my son deleted everything on my playbook and the screen is just blank how do I get everything back
First, what do you mean by the screen is just blank? Can you be a bit more specific?
Also, if any data was deleted there is no way to get it back without a backup. If there are icons missing (i.e. deleted) the only way to get them back is to reload the OS using BlackBerry Link.

You should have been sycning them with your computer all along. Sync them from your computer back to the iphone.

in order to restore your songs and apps, you should just reconnect to itunes and sync your data. your phone ran a backup before it upgraded, and you can also do a restore. but the key is still to go to your itunes and sync back to your phone what you wanted there in the first place.

I am having the same problems and I synced/backed up my ipod before updating and all of my things were deleted as well. All that remains is the ipod's own settings and the photos on my camera roll. All imported photos and apps, music, videos, etc are gone and I can't figure out how to get them back

to know your version of OS, click on the apple, then " About This Mac".

Exactly how did you "reboot to reset"?
Rebooting simply means shutting down the machine and turning it back on. That does not erase any data. -
How can I get everything back on my iphone?!?!
All my data has been erased and when I tried to back it up from my laptop it did not work!
I had backed everything up on to my laptop up to date so it should have restored my phone
but when I plugged the phone into my laptop it also erased things from my computer...

I'm not even sure what to call this or how it got started on my computer. There is one finder window for firefox, and another for other programs etc. I want them all back in the same finder window, please! What feature is this which got things split up, and how do I disable it?

[email protected]The Get Info. fields show up gray if the files is locked and iTunes knows it can't edit the file. Make sure the files are not marked as read only and, if necessary grant both your account and system full access to all files and subfolders of your media folder.
You can set Part of a Compilation for multiple tracks from the Options tab of Get Info.

ITunes randomly rearranged my library, how can I get everything back in proper order?
Randomly, iTunes decided to rearrange my whole library. If I sort my library by artists, I have artists mixed together and completely out of order. C's, K's, and R's mixed with A's and so on. It is consistent throughout the library.
Initially the problem was that iTunes created duplicates of titles, album covers, and artists overtop of other songs so I needed to play all of the songs in the Library to get the original and correct information back. But now, everything is still sitting out of order and will not change back regardless of what I've tried.
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated, as it's a HUGE pain trying to find artists and songs when everything is random and out of order.Click ANY heading at the top of the track list. It will sort (up or down) by that category

Enclosures for FireWire and USB are readily available. You can find only FireWire enclosures, only USB enclosures, and enclosures that feature multiple ports. I completely understand what you are trying to say. Regardless of what YOU are saying are facts, its my device. YOU don't know what glitches, issues or age defined viruses may take place on my device. Anything is possible. YOU may think you're an expert but i'm positive that you haven't seen everything. On the other hand I full-heartedly appreciate your help in telling me I can never get my data back. Im sure you know a lot about apple and can help many others that need help (no sarcasm at all). i have a new iphone 5c and i cant get past the security questions. i made my apple account a while ago with an old email. i created a new apple id with my new email but i dont use it. How do i terminate the account with my new email so i can replace my old email? If i reset my security questions will it delete all my stuff?
You can't delete an iTunes account, but you should be able to change the email address that is on it e.g. by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone and logging into it, via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, or via http://appleid.apple.com - you should then be able to put it on your old account.
For your security questions on your old account, if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on that account then the steps half-way down this page will give you a reset link on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address or don't have access to that email account (you won't be able to add one or change it until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add or update your rescue email address for potential future use
Resetting an account's security questions shouldn't affect any of the purchases that you've made on the account. -
I need help reseting my itunes after I refreshed my windows 7 on my pc. I have my music on my external drive & my ipod. How do I set up again?
This question has to do with how to restore your computer drive if you backed up the computer to an external drive. Did you use backup software or did you just copy the data from the old computer to the new computer? If you just copied, then you need to just copy over the Music folder which should contain the iTunes folder.
