I'm getting the following message on screen when attempting to capture video "audio only capture selected, video preview disabled." How can I get the view preview back?
FCE doesn't allow for audio only capture, it's in a twist somewhere.
Try trashing the FCE preferences.

No. The iPad has a built in Camera that faces the front of the iPad you can use.
All you need to do, is download the Skype App from the App Store. Once downloaded, Open it, and sign into your Skype account. If you don't have one, you can create one using the "New to Skype?" Create an Account > " option at the bottom of the screen.
From there just tap on a contact to bring up the Details page, and tap on the Video Call button to start a call. -
Does anyone know how I can get skype (video call) to work on Ipad 3rd generation
I have tried to make a video call through Skype to a business relation (who did not have the possibility to use Facetime) on Ipad 3rd Generation. Did this using the most recent Skype app (which claims to have been updated for the Retina display). The app works all rigt, but the video doesn't. That is: I can see myself, but the other person can't. And I cannot see the other person. What have I done wrong?

How can I get Normal video settings back
Before I launch into describing the problem, I thought I would tell you that I really had hoped it would have been a common problem, and therefore went through about 12 pages of topics and problems before I decided to open a new topic. The closest thing I found was from someone who apparently experienced part of my problem - a shifting of the screen.
What I really need to know in lieu of a specific solution to the specific problem is to know how to get back to Default settings for monitor display. Something I did screwed things up. I am not even sure precisely what I did to mess it up, because I actually did several things that could have contributed. But, the end result of what I did was that my screen font display looks wierd, and not normal. I have an ATI video card, and I hit Detect display, so it flashed off and then back on. What is the setting that the display is normally set on. I have tried various solutions, but can't seem to get back to where it once was. I would presume that a reinstall of OS X would do the trick but that seems too radical of a solutioni. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.Hi-

You didn't say what display you are using.
Try a new user account. Everything will be at default in the new account.

How do I get my video playlists back on iPod Touch 4G after (epic fail) iOS6 update
As other users have identified, playlists present on iTunes on laptop but not on iPod touch 4G after iOS6 update except when select edit. Can I get them back? Not wasting time messing around. Either this is easily sortable or I get a new player from another maunfacturer - seems Apple can't be bothered to sort these issues so not sure I can be bothered with Apple anymore.

How do I get my video viewer back on iPhone 3Gs 32 GB?
After the last iOS over the air update, my video viewer disappeared from my iPhone 3GS 32 GB. Nothing has replaced it, and I have videos from iTunes on my phone that I can't view. I went to iTunes help for guidance on what to do and there were no answers. I downloaded the user guide, no answers there. Help please. I would like to be able to view the videos that I own through iTunes.

The tab that lets you block adds came up by a video and i clicked on it by accident. Now the all videos for that website are gone. i am using final cut pro x. i have imported some images and video in my timeline. when i play back my video it looks fuzzy. but, when i pause it, it looks clear again. how do i get my video to play clear and not fuzzy?

Correct. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.

No way to recover it unless the other person didn't delete it on their end but the Perfect time to activate iCloud Drive and you won't ever need to worry. If you set it up correctly.

Video Offline - How do I get my video back?
This is the second time this has happened to me with adobe premiere elements. I went to open a video I have been editing and it says 'media offline'. And then when I try to search for it is says the video can't be found.

What version of Premiere Elements are you working with and on what computer operating system is it running?
Have you been moving, deleting, or renaming files and folders that were imported into the project after you saved closed the project?
When you import media into a project, all you get are copies of the originals in the project. But the copies need to trace back to the
originals where they were located when they were first imported into the project. Does any of that apply to you?
If not, do you store any of your source media on an external hard drive? if so, the external hard drive may be malfunctioning and/or the
drive letter may be changing for a variety of reasons.
To get your project source media reconnected, best use the "Where is the file....?" messages one by one, targeting the exact file name
that the message is looking for. The message does not know where the files are. You have to direct the message to the place where
you know the file are (exact name of file) and then click select in the message. After you have processed a few of these messages, the rest of the missing media may kick into place automatically...depends. Have you been there and done that?
Can you actually see the files that you are looking for on the hard drive or have they disappeared from their original hard drive save
location?
Please review and consider and then we will decide what next.

How do I get messages to go back to an AIM account? It's only seeing the iPad's Facetime email address and not seeing the old AIM account name that is on my desktop. I am using my iMac using iChat to talk to a newer iMac that doesn't have iChat. We had this working using Messages and Facetime (on the new machine) talking to my existing iChat account. One day last week, when Facetime rang, my kids answered on the iPad. Dang! Now it's all fouled up! The new iMac won't see my AIM account name and shows that I'm offline, because the iPad is off. We were able to call using "most recent call" in Facetime, but now I can't go and control that new iMac remotely to help with some email concerns the user is having. I'm trying to not personalize this too much, but it's grandkids talking to Grandma and Mom and Dad trying to solve new machine hiccups. Normally, I could just go in via iChat and control the other machine and troubleshoot, but I can't do it with Facetime only. My buddy list doesn't see the other computer even though we are connected on Facetime right now. My name is not highlighted for the other computer. What could have gone so wrong?
