How do i get folders to show thumbnail previews, instead of just a folder icon. Like how windows does thumbnail view.
I have a massive amount of folder with pictures inside each folder, is there a way for the folder icon to show whats inside, like how windows does it.

No, you can't use the .NET code directly in DIAdem. I'm not sure what the point in suggesting it was, as it would take significant modification to be able to use similar code in DIAdem.
Have you tried using the VIEW Legends? Expand the legend for each graph and then double-click on the legend, at which point you can configure what information shows up about each curve. By default, the legend will show the Curve Name, Curve Units, X-Position (of the cursor), and Y-Position (of the cursor). Feel free to augment or contract this as needed for your preference.
After expanding each legend, switch to the Curve Cursor, and you should be able to see the Y-Position of each curve, completely synchronized.

Move your cursor way over to the right side of the window. There should be a thin bar. when you hover over the left side of the thin bar, the cursor will change to a vertical bar with an arrow sticking out the left. Click and drag to the left.

When I create a New Folder (on the desktop or in Finder), the system uses the Generic Document Icon instead of the Generic Folder Icon. How can I change this back?
All of a sudden I noticed that most of the folders on my computer were no longer using the folder icon, but the generic document icon. I had to manually change back the icon being used by opening Get Info for each folder and copying and pasting the generic folder icon from some folders that remained unchanged. Now whenever I create a New Folder (right click -> "New Folder"), the icon that shows up is the generic document icon (white page with top right corner turned down). And I have to manually change it so it shows up as a folder in Finder or on my desktop. I don't know why or how this switch happened. All of the folders now on my computer look ok, but I need to change the default so when I create a New Folder it uses the correct icon.
I have also Forced Relaunch of my Finder and rebooted the system. I downloaded Candybar but am not sure what will fix anything, so I haven't proceeded.
Anyone know how I can do this? Thanks.Anyone?

How do I get Messages to show contact names instead of phone numbers in notifications?
Originally, notifications from Messages.app would show the contact name sending the message. I'm not sure what caused it to stop, but now all notifications show up as the phone number of the contact. In the actual app, the names look fine. Is there some way to get contact names to show up again?

Depending if you are using Buddy Lists or not then this setting is supposed to be fro the Budfdy lists but will effect the Main Window display
This item lower in the same View Menu is supposed to be the one fro the main Messages window (it has to be the "Front" window)
As you can see it also controls what Messages style is used.

How can I get iTunes to show movies again instead of a grey screen?
I was able to view my whole library of movies/music videos before the upgrade and now, iTunes will open my movies but it doesn't show them. It plays the sound but the screen is grey. It's a bit demoralising to break something that worked but to break it all together makes me wonder why I spent so much time and money building up my library.
If anyone can help or explain this, I would be grateful. I am running iTunes, 11.2.1(1) on an iMac (late 2013) running 10.9.3
-Kevin.Sorted... When screensharing two devices (in this case a Macbook pro and iMac) the following appears to be true:
It isn't possible to view movies/videos on either of the devices that are screensharing;
Neither device as a result, even if a window is not up with the media being shown to the other device will show media (movie or music video). -
If DIADEM goes to the trouble of tracking the cursor on all the pages in a sheet I would think there is a NON-SCRIPT way to show the Y values for all.
My graphs are aligned on the X-axis (torque), 4 - 2D displays(1 each for RPM, HP, Current and Efficiency), and 10 plots on each of the 4 displays all in DIADEM 2010.
The display coordinates box only shows active display and others are grayed out. I've played around with the "Cursor Parameters" but that yields the same although what I add does show in the "Coordinates" dialog. I assume it may have something to do with making it automatic but I see no way to change it and how do I assign it to a channel???
On another note I'd like to be able to synchronize all 4 charts to be on the same plot(legend) to the above tracking and thus will read the same relevant data. So if plot 1 is selected on the RPM display then the other three will also be on plot 1. I assume this would have to be done programmatically but if not I'm all ears.

How do you add folders to the music library instead of just individual files in iTunes 10?
When I try to add folders to the library like I used to be able to, the only option that appears is 'Add files to library' - any tips?
You can restore much of the look & feel of the previous version with these shortcuts:
CTRL+B to turn on the menu bar (also opens temporarily with ALT).
CTRL+S to turn on the sidebar (your device should be listed here as before).
CTRL+/ to turn on the status bar.
Click the magnifying glass top right and untick Search Entire Library to restore the old search behaviour.
Use View > Hide <Media Kind> in the cloud or Edit > Preferences > Store anduntick Show iTunes in the cloud purchases to hide the cloud items. The second method eliminates the cloud status column (and may allow iTunes to start up quicker).
The first one will give you access to File > Add Folder to Library.

When I open an event, including flagged items, the photos appear one by one, not as thumbnails, so I can't export more than one phot at a time. How do I get iPhoto to show the thumbnails?
I've tried rebuilding the thumbnail database, but that hasn't helped.What version of iPhoto and system are you running?
Try moving the Zoom slider at the bottom of the iPhoto window all the way to the left. Does that let more than one photo display in the window?

when I have a pdf file open, I used to be able to click on "Bookmarks" tab on left side and allow me to click on each individual page and delete if I needed to. Now when I click on the Bookmarks tab, that section is empty. How can I get it to show each page again?

I think you may be confusing bookmarks with thumbnails. If you click the Page Thumbnails icon (the one above the Bookmarks icon), then you can delete a page by clicking its thumbnail, and clicking the Delete Pages icon (the trashcan icon). Just make sure that you're viewing the PDF file in Acrobat (rather than Acrobat Reader), as you can't delete pages from Reader.

I downloaded a WMA audiobook from library using Overdrive. It shows up on my Itunes listing of Audiobooks on my Ipod, but on the actual Ipod it only shows up on Playlists. It is marked as an audiobook in Options | Media Kind. It is also marked to Remeber Position, but it does not do that. How do I get it to show up under Audiobooks and remember the position? I have a 4th Gen Ipod running Ios5

I have audio books that are on my ipod touch, but when I hook it up to my computer to make changes they don't show up. I can't add new music, because it keeps telling me I am out of room. When I go to the book tab at the top it doesn't show any so I can't take them off. How do I get them to show up?
iDevices are not and have never been backup devices.
Authorizing a computer does not cause media to magically appear.
Media is only where the user puts it.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.
