How do I get forward delete to work on a PC w/ an Apple Wireless Keyboard?

Hello,
I have successfully connected an Apple Wireless Keyboard to my Toshiba Portege laptop which is running Windows Vista. The keyboard is working fine but my laptop won't recognize the 'fn+delete' command to execute a forward delete. I've searched quite a bit online but I can't figure out how to replicate the forward delete functionality, which I use all the time, with my Apple Wireless Keyboard. Anyone have suggestions or ideas about other key combinations which may work or mapping software I can use on my laptop to get this done? Thanks very much!

Yes, in the keyboard system preferences, I have checked the "Use all F1, F2..." check box and unchecked it and nothing either way. I was using Snow Leopard up to a couple days ago and the F1 and F2 worked fine. All the other F keys as advertised (according to the little picture on the key), just the brightness controls don't work.

Can you start Firefox in [[Safe mode]] ?
You can also do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

Did you do an erase and install of Mavericks? If not look in the HD/Library/Application Support folder for an iDVD folder. There should be a Themes folder in it. If it's not there look in your Home/Library/Applications Suport folder for the iDVD folder.
NOTE: In Mavericks, 10.9, the Home Library is invisible so go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring up this window:
Select Show Library Folder. Now you can check to see if the iDVD folder in there.
If you find the iDVD folder launch iDVD, go to its Advanced preference pane and point iDVD to the Themes folder:
If you can't find the Themes folder you'll need to reinstall iDVD from the source you installed it from originally, i.e. the disks that came with your Mac or an iLife 09 or 11 disk.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone (if you're using iOS 7), then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

Frank, thanks for the help. That Microsoft article is the one I read yesterday morning. I again just now went into the BIOS as follows: Security, System Security-Data Execution Prevention AND Virtualization Technology were both enabled. So I saved changes and exited. My computer is running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

Just try using from View->Fit to screen and check if it works. Reset the preferences by:
1. Close Elements.
2. Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl + alt + shift as you click Editor.
3. Continue to hold the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Elements will open with default preferences.
Check in any other windows app like word or any other app you aware of it is there.

How can I get Activity Monitor to work?

I've searched the discussions to no avail, so I have this question: how can I get Activity Monitor to work? It launches and its window opens but then the spinning beachball appears. I've checked the Console and it shows that the Activity Monitor is attempting to fully launch but then it "exits" and then it tries to fully start up again, goes into an infinite loop or something. Issued a "force quit" succesfully. I've deleted the Activity Monitor's .plist, no joy. What to do? Thanks!

If you connect your iPhone to a computer running Linux (Ubuntu version in my case) it will become recognized as a normal USB memory pen-drive.
From there, you can use many methods to recover your lost deleted files.
TestDrive allows you to search the drive (iPhone memo) and gives you the possibility to recover deleted files. I'm not an expert, nor did it with iDevice by myself. But it worked for me with Symbian phone (Nokia)...

The Wi-Fi connections section is in Settings > Wi-Fi
If the home screen is not visible tap the Home button, the button on the front of your iPad that has the rounded square in it. Once you reach the Home screen swipe through the screen of apps until you find the Settings app. Tap Settings and go to Wi-Fi.
If your iPad is completely non responsive, try a restart.
Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep button simultaneously ignoring the red slider. Keep holding until the Aple logo appears and your iPad will restart.
The sleep button is on the side of your iPad on the side opposite from the Home button.
