You don't. You can use Safari and go to mobile Google maps and after opening that, tap on the arrow on the bottom of the page and save it to the homescreen. That will allow you to use Google maps web app on the phone. There is a rumor that Google is working on a stand alone app for the App store however no one knows yet if it has been submitted.

See if the iPad will accept the password after you restart it. It's worth a try.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
You could also try a reset as well.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

You need OSX 10.7.2 or higher in order to access icloud. The mobile me account is now defunct (it closed down more than a year ago).

Media and apps are not part of the backup. They need to be re-synced from your itunes library or re-downloaded from the store.

Yes the wipe would delete all personal data settings as a security feature designed in the device.
Unless you have used the Blackberry desktop software to get a full backup of the device prior to the wipe the data is gone. If you do have the backup file you can restore the data via the desktop manager.

Thought I'd reply to this seen as no one else has, I am also experiencing very similar problems with my 4s and by the looks of it is it's across all handsets. I've never had any battery issues with my iPhone even 7.0.6 was fine, but since updating to 7.1 the battery is ticking down very fast. Whether you can redownload previous purchases depends upon the type of item (audiobooks and ringtones are one-time only downloads), what country that you are in (music, films, TV shows can't be redownloaded in all countries), and whether the item is still in your country's store (content providers occasionally remove their items) - what you can redownload will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage
Or you should be able to copy purchases back from your iPod via the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option (if the drop-down menus aren't showing then control-B should get them to show).

SADLY not as i downloaded an upgrad to my original PAGES/
i have in the meantim had to open www.icloud. then from there import the file that i am working on and then check on ipad if it uploaded/ yes it did.
but what a waste of time as it doesn not save any changes done automatically back in the cloud....
i am now downloading the new LION and hope that it will fix the problem
i cant find any other way. I was lead to believe that you wrote, it saved automatically, on to the cloud, you then opened anohter device in anotother country even, and the new file was there, waiting, in its latest version.......
