How do I get grid all the way to upper left?

I'm using a grid on a page. It won't go all the way to the upper left or top. This is what is causing white space
to appear between my frames. It goes almost to the top, but not quite. I know there is a way to make the grid go all the way to the top. I've seen this
somewhere in a tutorial - just can't remember.

I remember this in a tutorial I watched once... talking about the annoying space at
the top when you place a grid... and what to do about it. Just can't remember or figure
out what that was. I'll give it a look when I get back to the office.

Everyone who logs into Facebook on my Firefox has this problem however if we use Internet Explorer - facebook looks normal.

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause issues like you described.
* Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)

to know your version of OS, click on the apple, then " About This Mac".
Same thing for your version of iPhoto: in iPhoto, click on "iPhoto" then "About iPhoto".

According to Apple documentation error 1015 is:

From your backups. By doing a clean install you erased your startup volume. You may have installed OS X, but your personal software was erased. You can restore from backups if your have them. If not, then you've lost it all, permanently.

Hi Guys
I have deleted some of the channel strip presets in Logic 8, is there any easy way of getting back all the original factory ones?

Yes, you drag them over.
Roght click on the installer packages on the DVDs, and click on the "show package conte4nts" button. This will open the installer package, then navigate until you find the presets. If you have several DVDs, it may take time to get to them, but they're there.
You'll have to place them in your drive here :
Macintosh HD / Library / Application Support / Logic /
That is where all the presets are found. You might have to enter your admin password to copy them over.

HT201210 I was doing an update on my iphone and it stopped short of getting it all the way done. Now my phone is stuck with an itunes icon on the screen, and will not allow me to do anything with it. I tried shutting it down and restarting it...same icon

I tried to update my phone. The update didnt go all the way through, and ended up freezing the screen on my iphone with an itunes icon on it. I tried to reboot phone with no success...the icon stays on there with no other function of the phone available. Anybody know of a fix?

Put your iphone in dfu mode by doing this. Turn your iphone off. When its off, hold home and power button together for exactly 10 seconds, then release the power button and keep holding home button for another 10 seconds. Then open up itunes on your pc and plug your iphone to your pc. Itunes should recognize your iphone in recovery mode and it will tell you to restore it. Click restore, and your iphone will restore. Remember that, if you do this you will lose everything that was on your iphone. You can restore from backup later on. Hope I helped. How do i get back all the camera profiles?

After I upgraded from LR 4 to LR 5, I lost all my custom camera profiles for my Nikon D800.
Any idea how can i get them back?

Where did you store your custom camera profiles?
If you mixed them in with the Adobe profiles, then at some point in the past, LR started to ignore camera profiles that were mixed in with Adobe profiles. To have those profiles seen you needed to have moved them from the Adobe folder to the Users folder that Jim shows in the reply above this one.
The profiles may still be in your LR 4 Resources folder if that folder still exists and if so then move them to where Jim indicates and they should be seen again.
If the files are no longer in the LR 4 location then they may be gone, and need to be recreated from the ColorChecker DNGs. Hopefully you still have those.

Now that I've upgraded to Lion, about 50% of the time when I click the mouse it acts as if I've right clicked. How do I get back to the way it was?!

I am working on two macbooks and an imac. I upgraded all the software last weekend and am now running all three computers on Lion. Over the last week, about 50% of the time when I click the mouse (whether it be the "pad" mouse on the macbooks or the standard mouse on my imac) it acts as thought I've right-clicked. How do I stop this insanity?! I want my old no-right-click mouses back!

Try this,
Go to to the Trackpad System Preference and look at the Point and Click tab.
Uncheck the box that says "Tap to Click"
I found my track pad to be way too sensitive and I was finding myself in web pages I did not choose to go to. Unchecking that box will make it so you have to press the track pad to make it click something as opposed to just tapping it. It is more effort but also less sensitive to random taps.

Clearing a conversation is the same as deleting the messages, so unfortunately they're gone. You could always restore from a previous backup, but you would lose anything that you've added/changed etc on your phone between the last time you synced your phone and now.

Are they still on your computer but not in iTunes - if they are then you should be able to add them back via File > Add To Library. Otherwise, if you don't have a backup of your content then you will need to find a third-party program that can copy them back from the iPod and onto your computer.
