i recently got a replacment mini and i tried to sync it to my itunes on my windows pc but the error message said i had to get an i tunes upgrade on the i pad how do i do that ?

The message told you to update iTunes, probably to iTunes 11.1. It means you need to update iTunes on your computer. You cannot update iTunes on your iPad separately from the whole iOS.

Hey everyone in Apple world!
I figured out how to fix the flashing yellow screen problem that I've been having on my MBP! Yessssss!!!
I found this super handy website with the golden answer: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
I followed the instructions on this page and here's what I did:
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
I went through the 6 steps above twice, just to make sure I got rid of whatever stuff was holding up my bootup process. Since I did that, my MBP boots up just like normal. No flashing yellow screen anymore!!

iTunes on tmy new computer shows none of my data and I fear if I sync my iPod with the computer all will be deleted on the iPod.
I still have everything in iTunes on the old computer.

Just move your iTunes library to you new computer. You can transfer iTunes purchases to you new computer from your iPod by:

You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

On your Mac, you should be able to remove the checkmark in front of your email address in the "You can be reached by iMessage at" and "Start New Conversations from" sections of iMessage settings.
