My old mac/firefox (pre "9"& mac "lion") showed icon/logo next to site name in my bookmark folders.(ie.) wells fargo,pge,target etc.

There is some information in there that should help you to resolve your issue. Luckily, it is a very easy fix.

If you still have the crashed Win computer, you may be able to recover your music and movies from the hard drive. If you have a friend with a hard drive USB connection kit and a PC, they should be able to help. Otherwise, check locally for computer services that might do that for you (I think Best Buy Geek Squad may be able to help). If the drive itself is in good shape, it shouldn't be too expensive.

How can I get ALL my songs from my ext.HD into my new Mac?

you mean you intend to add those files from the external drive to the iTunes library on your startup disk, you e.g. choose +add to library+ from the file menu, and iTunes won't add the files ?
if so, you could try this:
check if you have read & write permissions for your iTunes music folder. in finder, right-click on it and +get info+. unlock the little padlock (you may have to enter your admin password) and change the permission settings. next, click on the little gear-shaped icon and +apply to enclosed items+ like so
you may also give everyone read & write access. if this doesn't help, try the same on your iTunes folder (not just the iTunes music folder).
try adding one of the problem files.

This first (From Defcom)
Click on iChat in the dock at the bottom of your desktop first.
This will either bring iChat to the Front or launch iChat is it is not open.
Then you should be able to do irvine91's stuff
Open iChat > In the Menu bar along the top of the screen click on iChat and then Preferences > Select the accounts tab and then you can use the plus and minus icons to add and remove new accounts.
Removing the incorrect one and adding a new Account with the correct info is probably easier than trying to edit the existing one that is set up at the moment.
IF the Existing one has Buddies added set up the new one then Select all the Buddies in the Current Buddy List and drag them to the new Buddy list.
Then you can delete the first one you set up (that is incorrect).
Presumably if you put in incorrect details it is not even able to Log-in and have not been able to add Buddies.

Before upgrading to IOS7, I had more icons showing. Missing several; when I search and type the name in, apps open up. How do I get icons to "reappear" on my phone?

Before I upgraded to V4.0.1, I could close firefox & it would save the sites that I had open at the time. But now it still asks if I want to close them, but I don't have the option to save them (so that they will open automatically the next time I open firefox). You need to figure out what you have installed which changed that action to Yahoo from a blank tab, which is the default action in Firefox; and then get rid of that add-on. Then you can can install an add-on which allows you to select what you want in the new tab.
