Welcome to the Apple Community.
Assuming this is not the first time you have used your Apple TV
You might try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Also try restarting the router.
If the problem persists, try a restore, you may want to try the previous procedures several times before doing this.
If restoring from the Apple TV doesn't help, try restoring from iTunes using a USB cable.
If this is a new Apple TV, in addition to trying the above, it may also be that your network router is not allowing access to the timeserver, check that your router allows access over port 123.

During Apple TV setup, I have not been able to complete the Home Sharing process. Computer/iTunes Home Sharing is setup, but ATV "blocks" its Home Sharing setup. After my Apple ID and password is entered, ATV reports a failure. There are things to look out for to make sure your Apple TV can reach the network time server, such as ensuring port 123 is open and only using the DNS address provided by your ISP, but since it was OK one moment and not the next, my guess is these settings are already correct.
As for the restart, did you try restarting by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.

How do I change an AppleID to be able to update previously downloaded apps once a new AppleID has been set up?

I bought an iPad just before the change to iOS5. The personnel at the Apple Store used their computer to get an AppleID set up so I could access the App Store. I recently got an iPhone which operates on iOS5, which updates by direct download. In the process of activating the phone, it was necessary to establish a totally new AppleID which used my email address for identity, as the old identity would not work. It was also necessary to set up a new password which had higher security requirements so that the old password could not be entered.
Now the apps on the iPad cannot be updated. They are tied to the old ID, which no longer works. Updating settings with the new ID allows newly downloaded apps to be updated (if they don't require iOS5), but not the 60+ old ones.
Apparently, I must now buy a computer to connect to update the iOS in the pad from 4 to 5.
Is there any other way anyone knows of to update the iOS on the iPad wihtout having to shell out an additional $1500 in order to continue using a $500 iPad and update the apps I have?

I've tried it, but it will only accept an ID in the new format, i.e., an email address. The old ID was a 7 character alpha only.

And there is the problem. Your pictures are opening up in Mac's own Preview app.
Do you want all your jpegs to open in Photoshop, or only when you are in Bridge?
Selecting a program to open a certain file is called: File Type Association.
You can choose this at the MacOS level or the Bridge level.
Here's how to do both:
Either MacOS or Bridge has the wrong app associated with the jpeg. Let's start with MacOS
Close Bridge and Preview. Select one of your jpegs, and press Cmd i, That will bring up the file info window.
Go down to the "Open with" section of File Info.
Choose Photoshop CS4 and click on the Change All... button to apply this choice to every jpeg on your Mac.
Then open Bridge and see if double-clicking opens it in Photoshop.
Now that means all jpegs on your Mac will open in Photoshop. Maybe you don't want that.
You can set your jpegs to open in Preview when Bridge is closed.
When you open Bridge, there is Preferences > File Type Associations where you can direct Bridge to open the jpegs in Photoshop when you are viewing in Bridge.

i have a peculiar problem i have logged into my CRM box but when i try to get into SAP EASY ACCESS MENU its giving an program error.

saying its an SAP program error...expect this i am able to get into other tcodes
like STMS, RSA3, BWA1, RSA7....SPRO but not able to get into SAP EASY ACCESS menu...can somebody help how to clear this program error or else give me some tcodes to getinto BP and Product information in easy acess.

When you have Fast Boot selected, you get into Setup by holding down the F2 key while starting the machine. While you are in the BIOS, you can change the Boot back to Normal. If you were using Windows 7, I could give you another way to change Fast Boot but I don't know whether it would work using Ubuntu. You can try by typing HWSetup in the Start/Search box, hit Enter and select the Boot Setting tab where you can make the change.
