How do I get iPhoto to sync on all my devices

I have photos on my iPhone, my iPad and my two computers. Some photos are on multiple devices but others are only on one device, my iPhone for example. How do I sync all my photos so that all the devices have all the photos? Is that even possible. I don't want to lose anything. Thanks a lot.

However, I can read e-mails on my new iPhone, respond to them, and even erase them, but when I go to my computer or iPad afterwards, they still appear unopened and I have to open each one and close it again so it doesn't show up as an unread e-mail. This does not happen with the iMac and iPad; deleting it on one of those deletes it on the other as well. What am I doing wrong?

You need to connect your iPad to the computer you normally sync with and start Image Capture or iPhoto to transfer photos in the Camera Roll to the Mac. Once the photos have copied over you can organize them into folders on your computer.
Once that is done sync your iPad using iTunes on your computer to copy the albums over to the Photos app on your iPad.
Then start iPhoto on your iPad and you will see the albums there waiting for you.

I'm trying to sync the iPhoto libraries with 700-800 photos each, many of them duplicates, on my iMac and my MacBookPro. And I'm not finding a way to do that. Apparently the Cloud only syncs them if I use Aperture, which I don't want to do. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks

How do I get Logic to sync to external audio device?

Here is what I am trying to do:
I have a Big Ben which I want to use to sync everything together. I have Lynx Aurora converters on the way but for now I need to use a 002 rack with a Presonus DigiMax for audio i/o. So basically, I want to connect BIg Ben to 002 with SPDIF cable and to Digimax with Wordclock cable and that all seems to work fine when Logic is off. However I can't get Logic 8 to sync to the Big Ben through the 002 which is used for ins and outs. I can get everything synced by setting Logic to Internal sync and then sending SPDIF from 002 to Big Ben (which syncs externaly to that) and then connecting wordclock out of Big Ben to Digimax. There has got to be a better way.
I have tried setting Logic to external sync ( not exactly sure which method to use since nothing in the manual says that a particular setting is to be used with the i/o except maybe External or Free in Core Audio under Audio Tab on Sync settings - anyway this didn't work). I can use Digidesign CoreAudio Manager to set 002 to SPDIF but whatever I do, Logic doesn't not reflect changes to the clock rate. I someone could guide me on getting Logic to respond to Clock changes from 002R, I can probably get it going from there.

This is what I have figured out so far. If I turn off Logic, the 002 and Digimax clock just fine from the Big Ben. When clocking Logic from an external audio source (by using external or free under the audio tab of Sync preferences), that when I change timing of Big Ben, the audio changes to indicate it is receiving word clock. Logic throws up errors saying that there is a mismatch from external sync to project settings or some such error message. I can then change the clock in Logic to match what the Big Ben reads and errors go away and things indicate that it is clocked correctly. This seems to work, I am just used to other programs that when I change the clock setting on the Big Ben that they reflect those changes right away.
And yes I can synch the 002 to the Digimaz but it still doesn't work correctly until I manually change the clock setting in Logic as well. I just wonder if this is how things are supposed to work in Logic or if I am doing something wrong? The 002 is just a temporary solution to get me through a session tomorrow. After then I will have a Lynx Aurora 16 connected with the Firewire option and then use the Lynx AES16 PCIe when it is available in a few week (or hopefully not months). I am just trying to get a handle on how Logic syncs to an external converter. And while Syncing and wordclock are maybe not the same thing, under the sync menu is the only spot where I have found wordclock even mentioned (at least it is in the manual when describing what some of the options allow).

I use a joint apple id with my wife and daughter for purchasing apps, but they both use a separte id for their cloud. We also sync over wifi now with the new ios5 update. But, since the update any time one of use downloads an app for the app store it automatically gets loaded on everyones iphone, whether the other 2 want that app or not. I do NOT have the automatically sync new apps box check in tunes for syncing. Is their anyway to stop this form occuring?

Besides 'new album' , 'wall photos', or 'iPhoto Uploads' ... it only shows 24 pre-existing albums to choose. I need to see the other 50, 60, etc albums I have.
I've also noticed that iPhoto fails to load to certain albums with some 'Domin Exception' error of some kind (not sure the exact message).

You need to make the new Mac iTunes library your syncing library. iTunes on the Mac sees your iPad as a new device because you have never synced with this computer before. You can make the Mac your syncing computer by following the instructions in this user tip. You will be able to transfer the purchased music on the iPad into iTunes when you follow this procedure.

I have a new iPhone 4s. I take a picture. I edit it and save it to the iPhone. Then, I sync my phone with my Mac, open iPhoto. Only the original photos appear, not the one I edited and saved. Yet, if I e-mail the photo to myself, I can see the edited version. So, how do I get iPhoto to see the edited version.

8 MP is the resolution of the camera sensor. Images are compressed when stored so quite a bit smaller. The compression ratio depends on the level of detail in the image.

iPhoto on the iPad and iPhoto on the Mac are completely different programs. The Mac version cannot run on the iPad, because the operating systems and the processors are different. Don't expect, that iPhoto on the iPad will be able to do the same things as your iPhoto for Mac, pr that you can keep the two iPhoto libraries in sync.

Actually this happened to me today and although it would not let me play the file it allowed me to use that same file i had exported from iphotos but could not play and then it allowed me to open it in imovie (you can go to import and then get it from the desktop or wherever) although I made a couple of changes to it the main thing is once you drag it into the space to begin a new project you can then right click and select open in finder and that file actually plays......if its cause i made some changes to it i.e trimmed it slightly then its worth doing so.

I've tried rebuilding the thumbnail database, but that hasn't helped.

What version of iPhoto and system are you running?
Try moving the Zoom slider at the bottom of the iPhoto window all the way to the left. Does that let more than one photo display in the window?

You need OSX 10.7.2 or higher in order to access icloud. The mobile me account is now defunct (it closed down more than a year ago).
