How do I get iTunes page on iPad to look like the iTunes page on my other macs

The iTunes page on my new iPad 2 screams, COMMERCE........how do I make it look more like a normal iTunes page? I also find it very hard to navigate the iTunes page in general!

Snow Leopard is required if you wanted to upgrade to Lion, anyway, which you may want to in the future if the latest version of iTunes no longer supports Snow Leopard.

Generally, in iTunes, all you need to do is fill in an appropriate Album Artist to keep things together. For older iPods each track from the same album should have the same artist, or be marked as a compilation where appropriate. For iOS devices you may need to go to Settings > Music > Group By Album Artist > On.

If you are referring to a persona then a persona only covers the use interface part with the toolbars and not the browser part that shows the web pages.

Add extra empty toolbars if you want to see more of the persona. 
You can create extra toolbars to get extra space via View > Toolbars > Customize 
You have to put something on a toolbar (drag a Space item onto it) before closing the Customize window because empty toolbars are automatically removed.

How do you get a cfwindow to update a query on the origin page

I can't seem to get my head around this problem. I've got an accounting app where I want to add a new bill and if I type in a vendor who is not yet in the database I want to pop up a window to record the new vendor information, then return to the add bill page and continue with the information i've entered so far. I've tried cfwindows, but they don't seem to actually submit to the database, and even so, when I return to the origin page all typed data is cleared. Even a pointer towards a solution would be great. Sorry if the problem is spelled out well.

Why do it with a pop-up, when you can do it without? You could do it as follows.
Make, for example, Vendor name an autosuggest input field. When the user types, Coldfusion fetches the matching name from the database, if any exists. The bind attributes ensure that Coldfusion will automatically fill in the ID that corresponds to a matching name, and eventually the product that corresponds to the vendor name and ID.
If no such match exists, then you know the vendor is new. In that case, the application will add the new vendor. You may also choose to update, for example, the name or product of a vendor.

How do I get rid of a crsor that looks like a hand from a cartoon?

This hand has just appeared and I hate it. How can I get rid of it and go back to my regular mac cursor?

It's a mouse pointer. Interestingly, it disappeared when I powered down my system and re-started the next day and still hasn't returned.
So the problem seems to have been resolved.

I hope you want to change the picture of Headings only ie your workset in above mentioned case right ??
To change the picture go the role->then select added workset -> then open properties of worset ->now look for the
Pictogram properties of workset here from drop down select your desired pic and save the changes.
Now open portal the look for the changes ie new logo for the heading.
If new picture is not coming the try to clear the portal caches and check again .... other way to get the changes remove the
assigned role from user and change the role id and assign to user again now you will get new changes
without clearing the cache.
how to add custom pic?
To add custom pic you need to add the new pictures in the par file called com.sap.portal.navigation.mimeservice.par
So download the this par file from ROOT/WEB-INF/deployment/temp this location from Portal support , even you can copy from server too.
Now import the par file in NWDS and copy your new pic in images directory ..now build the par file again and
upload it on portal. But here new images will only appear in drop down list when you portal is restarted.
I hope you know how to import par in NWDS don't forget to add required jar file in both the lib folders.
There can be other way also to change the picture where portal restart is not needed . So if you don't want to change in this way then search for other method and let me know also.

Trying to Get Syslog to iMac but it looks like the Firewall is blocking

Mac OS Lion. iMac and Time Capsule hardwired to router.
I have the Syslog Destination Address set to my iMac, but I see in the iMac Console:
Firewall[106]: Stealth Mode connection attempt to UDP 192.168.1.67:514 from 192.168.1.65:514
Is there a way to allow this without turning stealth mode off or is this not the problem getting Syslog?

Tap Settings / iTunes & App Stores, then tap the Apple ID signed in. Sign out of the current Apple ID account and then sign in with another account or create a new Apple ID http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2731?viewlocale=en_US
Go to settings/facetime and tap the ID there and log out and log in with new ID.
Go to settings/messages and turn off imessages wait 30 seconds and turn it back on, go to “receive messages at” tap on the ID there, sign out and sign in with new ID.
Go to settings/icloud and delete the account and when prompted select “keep information on your device” then turn it back on with the new ID.
To edit account information tap Settings / iTunes & App Stores / Apple ID: / View Apple ID
To change your iTunes Store country, sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you would like to use, tap Settings/iTunes & App Store/Apple ID/View Apple ID/Country/Region

How can I get my music off my iPhone and into the iTunes library?

My computer broke down a long time ago and I lost all my music, the only place I have any of it now is on my iPhone. None of my songs were purchases. I haven't updated my phone since I got it a year ago, I deleted and backed up everything on my phone except for my music because I can find no way how, and I still don't have enough space to update. Some of the songs I have on there, I can't get back if I delete now, not anywhere. Why is there not a simple, built in way to back up music??? This has been driving me insane forever, I really just want to get my music back into iTunes again, or get it onto the computer I'm currently using, somewhere, anywhere, at this point. Is there any way to do this without downloading some program that you have to pay for to get to work?

How can I get back all of my family videos from the iTunes monster?

So here's the thing.
Over the past few years I have accumulated a whole heap of home videos as well as movies, TV episodes etc. etc. which has grown and grown to the point where there was no more space on my 60GB hard drive.
So I go out and buy an 80GB video iPod so that I can store the videos on that.
I go through the extremely lengthy (3 days) and frustrating process of converting all my files to mp4 using Videora converter and load them onto iTunes and then onto my new iPod. I then click 'Manually manage songs' in my iPod options so that I could delete the videos from my computer, and have them still on my iPod. This was about a week ago and since then everything has been fine.
When updating my iPod this morning, I manually ejected the ipod once my new music was added, only to find that the ipod now contained NO VIDEOS! As it turns out, the iPod automaticaaly reverted to 'automatcally manage files' without my prompt.
So now whilst I have the files on iTunes, they cannot be found as they have been deleted and they are no longer on my iPod. Is there ANY way that I can get them back? Anything at all? System restore or something?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you mean apps located in your itunes library then you check the apps you want on the iphoen in the apps tab when you have it connected to computers itunes

How can I get Spaces in OSX lion to look like Spaces in OSX Snow Leopard

I bought a new MacBookAIR. Used time capsule to import all my settings. Perfect!
However, the new setup of Spaces, is beyond annoying and absolutely unable to work with.
Does anyone know how to get the classic view of Spaces back in OS Lion?
I loved working with that. The active programs were very easy to remember since they had their own 'visual space reference' (upper left, lower right).
Now you only have a row, of which you need to remember which screen is on what number of the row and you now need to swipe through all the d..mn pages instead of navigating intuitively to a specific part of the screen (middle left, lower right etc).
I absolutely hate the new setup and hope somebody has an answer to this....I certainly hope, as an Apple fan, this solution comes quick..for one of the most beloved features now is pretty much dead to me..

How do I get my movies to play while loading like the QT trailers do?

I have tried several different things in iMovie and iWeb, and I can not find anything on it. When I put a movie on my site, the viewer sees a Q for Quicktime, until the movie is fully loaded. How can I make it so it plays while loading, the way the Quicktime Trailers do. they way they don't have to wait so long to see it.
