How do I get iTunes to maximize to the full screen instead of maximizing off the screen?

Whenever I maximize iTunes, the right most section of the window extends further to the right than the monitor does. How do I get iTunes to recognize my screen's size?

the way that you do this is go to your control panel and adjust your screen resolution to one lower then when it asks if you want to revert back to the correct screen size say yes and then ever time you start windows form a complete reboot you have to do this step every time, its annoying I know but it is the only solution that i have found that works

How can I get iTunes to update play counts and file additions between users on the same computer?

I have placed my iTunes library in /Users/Shared/iTunes along with iTunes Music Library.XML
When I open iTunes, all the music is displayed correctly with playcounts etc...
The problem is, when a playcount or album info is updated it does not carry over to the other user on the same computer. The same with adding new files to the iTunes library...
How can I get iTunes to auto-update between users?

Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

How can I get ITUNES to display manually added artwork for each song regardless of the album name?

I have been manually adding artwork to my songs. When I click the Show Artwork check box, it doesn't show the cover art. For example some greatest hits albums have different cover art per track. ITUNES picks one of the cover art and shows it for the entire album grouping.
Anyway around this? I want the added cover art to display per song.

The artwork of each individual track does display during playback, in the small thumbnail at the top of the iTunes window, or at the left of the MiniPlayer control (opens by clicking the thumbnail), or the larger artwork panel that is shown if you click on the Show Large Artwork control in the MiniPlayer. It should also display on any iPod or iOS Now Playing view.
The Up Next list uses the album art (usually cover of the first track) for everything from the same album, which is perhaps a shame, although in general one artwork per album makes sense.

How do I get ITunes to pull my music from TimeCapsule instead of local HDD

I have been trying without success to have copy all of my music from my new "Time Capsule" instead of my local HDD. I contact apple and they were not able to assist as they said it was not support.
This is what I have done.
I copied my entire music folder, placed it onto my time capsule. I can see the folder.
In iTunes preferences I pointed to the TC Music folder I copied
I select add to library and it starts to read all of my music.
When it's done, there's nothing in my iTunes library.
What's the problem? Can someone help? This was one of the main reasons I bought this time capsule. I am sure there are many people that have either done this or want to.

I don't use itunes to point at music from my TC but for you I just tried it.
I copied one mp3 song to the TC. Before I launched itunes I mount the TC hard drive to the desktop first. Launch itunes. Select add to library from the file menu. No need to go to preferences.

How can I get ITunes and mail to quit opening automatically ? I have done the right click, and it does not show that it is set to open at login and preferences doesn't help either ..???

i have tried the options is past answers, but they dont work or when they say 'go to preferences' I dont have the same options on this Mac that they do

I am going to restore my Macbook Pro to it's factory condition. In iTunes I have renamed a lot of my songs. Last time I cleaned off my mac and restored my music I had to rename all those songs again. How do I get itunes to remember all of those names?

I backup everything to an external drive and then I restore only what I want from my backup drive. In iTunes I have renamed a lot of my songs. Last time I cleaned off my mac and restored/reloaded my music I had to rename all those songs again. It took me about 2 weeks to reorganize my music. How do I get iTunes to remember all of those names and keep everything exactly the same when I restore/reload the music into iTunes?

Just delete stuff you don't want.

Use Time Machine, backup everything, do the reinstall (I recommend you don't do it) then restore your user folder with Time Machine.

Select you device from the left sidebar of iTunes and navigate to the Photos tab at the top. Do you have the Sync Photos With checkbox checked and set to iPhoto?

Close Itunes and then hold option key whilst launching Itunes. Select choose library from pop and select the library on your external drive.

How do i get Itunes to sync songs/apps that are "unauthorized"?

I forgot my passcode then had to reset my iPod touch, this was successful. Then in the syncing process some of the songs and apps were not syncing because they weren't "authorized". I hadn't purchased these items on my iPod. The window that had showed up said to go to store and then authorize computer. I did this, and the same window popped up and again, and again. How do i get itunes to sync these songs/apps that are un "authorized"?

The problem here is that iTunes wants to make sure that the songs that were purchased are sent to the same device that purchased them. In this case, you would need to authorize your computer first. This is as easy as opening iTunes, find "store" in the upper status bar, and select Authorize This Computer. A dialogue will pop up asking for your iTunes ID and your password. Enter the ID you purchased the songs with. Afterwords, you should be able to sync the songs.

You don't get the itunes program on your Android devise at all.
You would need to read the directions for your phone to learn how to put music on it.

I imported a cd that I purchased and I can't get it to sync to my phone. All the songs have a grey circle in front of them and the names of the songs are grey as well. How do I get iTunes to see them so they can sync to my iPhone?.

In the Gen 4 they offer "Settings" then "Reset Settings" Then it asks, "Do you want to reset your iPod?" I click on "reset" but then nothing resets. :-( This is what makes me think it might be locked or something....
