i tried kwin --replace but i dont get icons or wallpaper
any ideas?

no, because you get all the other kde stuff as well.
I just want to use the kde desktop (for multiple wallpaper)

Here are two ways on windows xp 32 bit:
1. Go to Start>All Programs, find the photoshop cs5 shortcut, right click on the shortcut and click Send To and then click Desktop (create shortcut)
2, Go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5, right click on the cs5 Photoshop.exe, click Send To and then click on Desktop (create shortcut)
(you'll probably have to rename the shotrcut to Adobe Photoshop CS5 after the shortcut is put on the desktop if you want it to say cs5)

How can I use KDE apps in Openbox?

I like using Openbox because it fits very well in my netbook, it's fast and lightweight. I also like to use a good file manager, like Dolphin and a image viewer like Gwenview. I can perfectly run those apps in Openbox, but there is a dark side.
When I execute them, a bunch of extra processes come in, like knotify, kded4, khelper, kacpid, and a lot with "k"! I hate that because even after all the apps are closed, knotify (and the others) still running and consume about 90% of the CPU (specially knotify) when in normal use (without KDE apps), the average usage of it is about 10%
Is there any way to use a "standalone" Dolphin or Gwenview or any other KDE app?

I use also some KDE applications in openbox, and I saw also the 7% cpu usage of knotify4 after the upgrade to KDE 4.6 with a new $HOME/.kde4.
I could suppress that the same way as mentioned in https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=77531 post #2
ie choosing "No audio output" for the notifications.
I use regularly Konsole and play some KDE games; here are the KDE related processes running continuously :

Maybe I misunderstood ... my mistake. However, please in the future do not use the word "file" when you really mean "folder".
You claim these folders are showing in the Import section, but not in the main Library page (I presume in the left hand side Folder Panel). Is that correct?
This means you have to import the photos in those folders into Lightroom and then the folders will show in the Library module Folder Panel.

If the photos are not in the Photos folder (enable disk use first) on the iPod, you do no have the full resolution pix on the iPod.
You only have photos optimized for the television (about 640x480).

I have no idea exactly how the Store operates, but as far as subscribers are concerned Apple isn't involved. Once you've subscribed to a feed, your iTunes application uses your computer's internet facilities to call the media files, and it can only do that from the URLs contained in the feed. This URL then goes to your ISP's domain name servers (or whatever you might be using instead such as Open DNS if you go for that sort of thing) and is converted to IP numbers to connect to the media files. So if the wrong set of files is being called, it's because any one individual's DNS servers haven't caught up.
All that said, I don't know enough about server technology (we're way outside making podcasts here) to know whether when you change the IP number associated with a domain you have to take steps to make sure the information propagates. It sounds as if you know more about that than I do.
Looking up cdn.traintalk.tv in Network Utility produces this result:

If there are problems with importing the IE Favorites in Firefox then export the favorites in IE to an HTML file and import that file in the Firefox Bookmarks Manager.

If I go to the Grammarly web-site, the only option presented is a subscription, for a fee. Bookmarking doesn't help; it's the same page.
So I go to tools, clik on Add-ons, and pull up the Mozilla Firefox page offering Grammarly Lite, Free. I clik on the yellow button that says, Add to Firefox, and it then appears as an extension. That's as far as it goes.
I need a firefox/grammarly icon, or something, to clik on and open it up so I can use it. I don't understand, Firefox has been my browser for years???
