How do I get Lingo to cough up the member name of a sprite?
I've tried:
put the currentspriteNum into holding
put the name of sprite holding
That gives me empty quotes.

(member 60 of castLib 1)
I need Lingo to tell me the name of whichever cast member is the sprite - e.g. "snowman" or "soap" etc
This is driving me nuts. Please help if you can.

When you create a new film script, the first page you see is a title page.
The page after this title page is the one where you generally type in your scenes.
It looks like you are facing some issue and not able to delete any text.

You can save this script to disk by using option 'File -> Save to disk'. This will create a '.stdoc' file on your system.

I don't know how you have a Tape Recorder icon on your Home Screen. I cannot add one myself. But, I am running Holo Launcher in replacement of the default LG "Optimus" User Interface. It's much better in my opinion.
Try long pressing the icon and select Edit and maybe you can change some attribute of the icon.
Another thing you could do, is long-press an empty area of your desktop, to add an icon. Select Shortcut, then Select Contact, and scroll through your contact list and choose the contact that you added for *86.
You realize if you have voice mail you haven't heard, there is a tape recorder icon in the notification bar, which you touch and pull down, then press it to dial voicemail.
If that functionality doesn't work, you MIGHT want to consider doing a factory data reset on your device, but that is going to nuke all your personalizations and cause you work to set up again. -
My iPad does not find the printer. I have tried the HP app and it works, but in any other app the printer is not seen. How do I get this printer visible to the iPad. All my other network computers find and print with out a problem.

Except on very, very rare occasions, Apple tech support people will not respond in the Discussions forums. If you want to communicate with Apple tech support directly, you would have to call their tech support forum (the call will not be free).

It may not help, but if you haven't seen that article, it's worth a look.
You might also try as a temporary test disconnecting the Lite-On drive and setting the Samsung as master and then see if you can successfully burn from iTunes.

I need to print the FULL image as shown on the screen - the image is SQUARE (equal on all four sides). iPhoto keeps cropping it into a rectangle - this is not acceptable! How do I get what I see on the screen into print form?

You have two options. The first method costs nothing but is not as accurate and the second means buying hardware and investing some time. The fastest way to get things closer is to download the color profile from the printer manufactures site for the printer and paper combination you are using. Install it on you Mac and relaunch LR. This is best when the paper and printer are both from the same company; in your case, HP. If the paper is not made by HP, you can often find profiles for your paper/printer by going to the paper maker's web site and doing a search for the appropriate profile.
The other alternative is to purchase a piece of hardware such as the ColorMonki which can be used to not only profile your monitor for color balance but also you printer/paper as well as your camera. When all of your devices agree on what color 118,118,118 means, you get the same color from capture to print but this is also an expensive option and there is a lot of time involved in building your own color profiles. The results however, are much more accurate.
Once you have a color profile installed, the next step involves doing soft proofing. Once you have your image looking the way you want it to in LR, open it in the soft proof option. This will show you how your print will look using the color profile for the paper/printer you are using. During the process, you will be shown the print on your screen which may look off. Use the small triangle in the upper-right corner of the histogram to turn on the out-of-gamut warning. This will highlight any parts of your image which contain colors your printer can't handle. Use the rendering intent options to decide how you want these colors handled (relative or perceptual). Check them both and use the one you like best. You can also make additional changes at this point if required before you generate the JPG image. Make sure to save it as a max quality JPG using the sRGP profile. How do I get my menu bar at the top of the page with no gaps? Whenever I move it there is a huge gap at the top of the page which I cant seem to get rid of, i posted about this before but none of the suggestions seemed to work for me. i'm not very good with css so im not really sure where to find the problem. There are generally gaps everywhere which looks at absolute mess, no clue how they got there and why, there is a huge gap underneath my menu bar too which wasnt there before. how do i get rid of this too? its probably some padding a or margin but no clue where.

Check your iTunes purchase history (click your email address in the upper right corner in the iTunes App Store-> log in -> click Purchase History). This gives you a comprehensive list of apps you've purchased.

How to I get music I purchased before the iCloud was created to show up on my new authorized iPhone? Right now I can only see the Apps I recently purchased on the actual phone but older music I purchased on my CPU using the same Apple ID doesn't appear.
Does any music show in the Purchased tab on the iTunes store app on your phone ? Music can't be re-downloaded in all countries, and even where it can be it will only appear whilst it remains in the store. Do you have your purchases on your computer and/or on a backup of your puchases so that you can sync them to your phone ?

I Have 2 users on my computer and both access i-tunes using same password etc. however 1 library has the full content of music but the other one has only partial playlists. How do I get both users to have the same full library?
The title of my initial post is a bit misleading. I already took a chance deleting one of the iPhones, hoping if I deleted the wrong one, I can still reauthorize it (all with the same Apple ID acct, so not subject to 90-day waiting period, right?) The iTunes database just updated itself, and it says I have 4 "devices" "in the Cloud", but 5 "computers" associated w my account. How can I find out what computers are associated? Isn't there a list I can see? I dont have a clue what computers they might be. If I use the "Deauthorize All" option, is it a pain to add them all back in. I assume I would have to log in from each computer to reauthorize each one. Would I have to be running the newest OS or version of iTunes to reauthorize? I think I have a PowerBook G4 Titanium with an older OS and iTunes. I'd like to keep that authorized, if possible.

I can not store all my Music on my internal Macbook pro hard drive so I am storing it on a large external drive connected to my airport extreme (2 TB drive plugged into the USB port). I see the drive on my laptop and I can add and delete files no problem. How do I get Itunes to search for the music here with out trying to copy it to my laptop's hard drive? I don't have enough space to do that.
How did you move the music to the external drive? What exactly is on the drive? The entire iTunes folder or only music? If it is the entire iTunes folder you can do the option+start suggestion earlier. If you copied only music and did so by dragging it there then you need to delete it again and consolidate/organize it there instead so iTunes tracks the move. iTunes 12 for Mac: Change where your iTunes files are stored - http://support.apple.com/kb/PH19507

I am going to restore my Macbook Pro to it's factory condition. I do this every once in a while because it seems to improve performance. I backup everything to an external drive and then I restore only what I want from my backup drive. In iTunes I have renamed a lot of my songs. Last time I cleaned off my mac and restored/reloaded my music I had to rename all those songs again. It took me about 2 weeks to reorganize my music. How do I get iTunes to remember all of those names and keep everything exactly the same when I restore/reload the music into iTunes?

Just delete stuff you don't want.

Use Time Machine, backup everything, do the reinstall (I recommend you don't do it) then restore your user folder with Time Machine.
