How do I get Lion, if I don't have app store?

My current OS is 10.5.8 on both my iMac and Macbook and I would like to uprade to 10.7 without haveing to first buy 10.6 only to upgrade to 10.7. What are my options if any?

Lion is available via the MAS and you need to purchase/install Snow Leopard first. That route will cost about $60 total ($30 each for SL and Lion), or...
you can buy the USB stick from Apple which supposedly does not require Snow Leopard (I've not tried it, so I'm not entirely sure) - that will cost $69 from Apple.
Appears the first option is less expensive..... (and, yes, those are the only two options).

I was running Lion and everything was fine. Then, the hard drive on my iMac died and I just had a new one installed. After that, I loaded snow leopard and then did a restore of all my files from time machine (I later found out that i should have just done a full restore from time machine and i didnt need to first install an operating system). All of the apps that were updated through Lion dont work, including App Store, Safari, etc. -- they say: "You have Mac OS X 10.6.8. The application requires Mac OS X 10.7 or later." I even deleted the Lion version of the App Store so i could try reinstalling the snow leopard version and that didnt work. Hard drive crashed>repaired it>restored with time machine backup>several apps are "circle slash" using my newly upgraded OSX 10.6.8. These apps include v1.2.2 App Store, v9.0.9 iMovie, v2.0 FaceTime, v7.1 Contacts, v6.0 Calendar, v1.0 Game Center, v1.0 Launchpad and a few others. iTunes v11.1.3 does not have the "circle slash", but it will not launch. I've tried:
1. Erasing the drive and loading from the Snow Leopard disk and doing a software update.
2. Erasing the drive and loading Snow Leopard, then doing a time machine restore, then a software update.
I have a full version of Drive Genius and have hammered the drive with every Drive Genius repair tool. Each repair says nothing is wrong or the action was concluded successfully. All I can come up with is that the time machine back up is somehow incomplete, or I have a setting turned off somewhere that is affecting a proper restore/upgrade.

You can only due an OTA update if your on IOS 5 or higher. If not connect your phone with itunes and itunes should read that your phone needs to be updated. suggest doing a backup of your phone prior to updating.

The App Store for iPhones/iPads is in iTunes>iTunes Store and click 'App Store' in the bar across the top.
The Mac App Store for OSX applications is in your Applications Foldeer (10.6.7 required).

You can only sync with one computer. When you synced to the new computer it would have erased it and synced what was on the new computer.
You always need to have a backup, an iPhone is not a storage device.
When you get a new computer you need to transfer your library before syncing
If you don't have a backup you may be out of luck
The only thing would be if you're in the US and have access to the iCloud beta to reload purchases

My computer crashed so I tried to sync all my stuff to another computer and lost 300 songs when I synced my iPod to the other computer how do I get them back I don't have them saved in iCloud and I can't get them back from the other computer

After downloading iOS 7 I went to my music app and noticed it showed all the music I ever bought even though I don't have most of it downloaded. It shows the iCloud button next to the song almost asking if I want to download it. I'm sick of seeing all that music I don't actually have on my phone, I don't have it downloaded for a reason..

FIXED IT! Went to music in the settings and there is a switch to not show all music! Probably should have went there before asking..

I own an 64GB iPad 2+3G. The App Store icon has a red circle with a number 3 in it. That means I have 3 updates pending.
I tried to download the updates to Pandora and Kindle using 3G at first. It did not work. I assumed it was because it was over 20 MB.
(I did not try the Vegas Towers one.) I went to the library and it still would not download via their wifi.
The description of the updates mention the retina display of the new iPad (3). Is that the cause of the download problem? I have already downloaded the iOS 5.1 at the library. Well, it is not that big a deal for me if I don't get the updates. But how do I get rid of the pending updates? How do I get rid of that little red circle? Also, I have not been able to use the Pandora or Kindle apps. They just keep saying waiting. I got boxes that said download failed and offering choice of done or retry. Since nothing happens, I chose done. So, I cannot update my apps, and in the meantime I cannot use the apps because the downloads stalled. I would like to abort the downloads and get rid of the updates from the update screen. I want to be able to use the apps again. Can anyone provide a solution? Thanks!

The problem has been resolved for me. I am a little fuzzy on how it got fixed.
I only have 3G, so I think I went to the library to use wi-fi.
I think I just deleted the stuck apps, and the downloaded them again. You do not have to pay again when you download a previously purchased app.
It is now August, and fortunately I have not had any stuck apps lately.
As you may already know, you cannot download an app over 20 MB via 3G.
I have the Kindle app also. No new updates lately. I only bought one thing using Kindle. It was a guide to iPad that was only $1.99 or so, but it did not really have anything that cannot be found in normal free Apple guide.
I have borrowed an ebook from the library using Overdrive app. You can choose the ebook version from Kindle.
I don't have any weather apps.

How do I get Aperture 3 when purchased before the App Store?

In 2010, I had downloaded the Trial verion of Aperture 3. I decided to buy it digitally and paid the $99.00 (at that time.) I still have the email from Apple confirming the purchase of the Aperture 3 Trial Upgrade. It worked fine and had all the necessary updates until last weekend. Friday I sufferd a hard drive failure and lost everything. Should have backed up stuff!! So now I am trying to get the program back, but since it was purchased before the App Store, it isn't on file for download. The Apple website doesn't support the trial download any longer. It refers me back to the Mac App Store where it is expecting me to pay for it. I sent a support email asking Apple, but they just confirmed that it wasn't available on the Mac App Store. Thanks. Any suggestions?

What version of software do you have on your ipod?
To put apps on your ipod from your computer, go to the Applications tab on itunes ( with ipod attached) and make sure that the sync applications box is checked and that you have selected what you want to sync.
