What model of Mac? I have a MBP running 10.7.3 and do not have that issue. From the other couple of posts I've seen about it, it seems to be maybe an issue with some iMacs? Have your tried searching the Lion or iMac forums for similar issues, just to see if anyone has hit on why it is happening?

Dov, that is close but not in the status bar but at the bottom of the volder window. Yes you can get the info from get info and in the list view. But we use to be able to have a line at the bottom that gave a running total, which to me was very useful as I throughput mondo files to discrete drives thoughout my network for sorting photos by topic to seperate drives.

Make sure you're up to 10.6.8 through Software Updates, and then re-download Lion from the App Store.
Incidentally, many Macs (from 2010 models onwards) have the ability to run Internet Recovery, even if your original hard drive crashed, which will allow you to re-download and install Lion directly from the internet.
But the best way is always to have a local backup of your system drive.

In theory, Lightroom 5 will recognize your existing LR 2.7 catalog and upgrade it to LR 5 for you to use. All you have to do is click OK or Yes or whatever when it asks you if you want to upgrade your catalog.
If it doesn't find your LR 2.7 catalog, then in LR 5 use File->Open and point it to your LR 2.7 catalog

I need your expert advice to proceed. I bought apple TV and it works fine with my iPad and iPhones also fine with itune of my Mac Book Pro BUT I am not seeing setting which says "Airplay Mirroring" in system preference -> Display at all.
I checked my mac serial number and it shows the model as below. As far as I understood this feature should be there from 2011 onwards.

Because you have a Verizon iPhone and when you turn off LTE it falls back to their EVDO network and correctly shows 3G. Your friends either have a T-Mobile or AT&T iPhone and they refer to HSPA+ as "4G".
A Sprint iPhone will behave exactly like yours.

The title of my initial post is a bit misleading. I already took a chance deleting one of the iPhones, hoping if I deleted the wrong one, I can still reauthorize it (all with the same Apple ID acct, so not subject to 90-day waiting period, right?) LION: How do I get LION Finder to remember a window's settings (view, window size, position, toolbar, sidebar) like always before? It remembers soon after, but after a time it forgets and does what it wants. Redoing this over and over is driving me crazy. I've been using Mac since 1986 and never had this problem,. One of the most beloved things about the Mac OS is that it REMEMBERS the setting for virtually everything! Clearly, Jobs has been out of action during LION development.
Maybe there's a way (with TERMINAL or finder prefs??) to adjust the "Time To Forget" to infinity (because it's OK for a while and then reverts to defaults again).

You don't (unfortunately) . Best to be patient until 10.7.2 is released (any day now), and which should fix this bug. If that doesn't work, then report it to Apple, but this is a BIG bug that Apple must and will fix soon.
BTW, I suspect you may be right about Steve Jobs influence, but hopefully this is just an exception.
