Firefox just updated and I accidentally clicked "No" when it asked me to import History, Bookmarks, etc. How do I get it back?

How can I get my original bookmarks back after accidentely syncing with a new Firefox installation?

I've installed Firefox sync on a new netbook running Ubuntu and it worked at first, it synced my bookmarks from my PC to the netbook with no problems.
However yesterday it decided to sync the original bookmarks on the netbook with my PC and now I've lost all of my original 100+ bookmarks, they still appear in the URL bar when I type in the keywords for a particular bookmark but not in the bookmarks menu.
How can I stop Firefox sync from repressing my actual bookmarks? How can I return the situation to how it was before using this addon?

It is always a useful precaution to make manual bookmarks backups

The above article also explains about the autobookmark backups that firefox generates, but be sure to make manual backups as you work, it is very easy to overwrite the wrong set of backups.
I am not entirely certain what firefox is doing in your case, perhaps the synced Netbook does not have the expected set of bookmarks on it.
Presumably sync may be uninstalled or disabled like any other add-on

I have logged into i message and face time with new current account. I have access to the old accounts e-mail and try to reset the password that way but apple has not sent an e-mail to that account or the new e-mail account. I am completely lost and not sure where to go next. help please.

I see you are attempting to reset the iCloud password in order to use your iPad. I would select the option to answer your security questions to see if this will allow the password reset. They show up in iTunes and I have tried unchecking them, syncing, checking them again, and syncing again.

Doing a reset and powering off between syncing did the trick. Answered my own question. My husband's did the same thing but he did not have "Sync Tones" checked in his phone settings in iTunes.

Press ALT in your keyboard (or F10) to make the menu bar temporarily visible. If you want it to be permanently visible, go into ''View > Toolbars > Menu Bar'', or rightclick the navigation toolbar (the stop button, for example) and select ''Menu Bar''.
If this doesn't help, rightclick the navigation toolbar, select ''Customize...'' and click ''Restore Default Set''. If it doesn't appear right away, try pressing ALT or F10. You can go into ''View > Toolbars > Menu Bar'' to make it permanently visible.
If none of this helps, you may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Try disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
