How do I get LV2009 to see my PCIE-1433?

Hi all - I think this problem is just a matter of picking the right download. I'm trying to modify an LV application that was installed on demo system provided by a vendor. They very kindly provide all their source code, but it's written in version 2009, and they didn't include the development environment. I downloaded 2009 sp1 and installed it using my 2014 SP1 license. So far, so good.
When I opened the VI, LV couldn't find any of the IMAQ sub-vi's. Eventually, I figured out that I needed to install the 2009 version of the Vision Acq System. Downloaded and installed it, and that took care of most of the missing VIs. There were still a few that required the Vision Development Kit, but I don't have that license, so I just deleted those and tried to run the VI. I got errors that it couldn't open the framegrabber. It turned out I had unstalled the driver for the PCIE-1433.
So I downloaded the Driver package, installed that, and the PCIE-1433 is still not recognized. Now I'm stuck. I know this system should work somehow, because the vendor's application worked before I started messing with it.
Any ideas, folks? Install everything in a different order (above is the actual order I installed things).

It seems that the PCIe-1433 needs the IMAQ 4.4 driver or later, which is included in VAS 2010.03. You will need this driver and LabVIEW 32-bit.

Hi,
you don't need MobileMe or anything fancy. I personally sync my Outlook calendar and my Outlook address book with three computers (two at the office and one at home)and besides I run Office 2003 on one, Office 2007 on the other and Office 2010 on the third, so it can't get more complicated than that, but it works 100%.
First sync Outlook with iTunes on one computer, having done that when you try to sync it to another machine, iTunes will recognize that it is synced with another computer and ask you if you want to merge the data, say yes, That's all there is to it.
It does not work for music as you rightly say but as far as Calendars and Contacts are concerned it's flawless and transparent.

From the menu bar, select
 ▹ System Preferences ▹ Energy Saver ▹ Power Adapter
and uncheck the box labeled Put the hard disk(s) to sleep when possible, if it's checked.
If the drive has more than one interface (USB, FireWire, Thunderbolt, eSATA), try one of the other interfaces.
Check that the data cable is securely inserted at both ends.
Try a different cable.
If you're connecting the drive through a hub, connect it directly to a built-in port on the Mac.
If you're connecting it directly, try a different port.
Disconnect all other devices on the bus, or as many as possible.
Test the drive with another Mac. Test another drive with this Mac.
If the drive is bus-powered, but has an AC adapter, connect the adapter.
Start up in Recovery mode and launch Disk Utility. Is the drive recognized?
Start up in Safe Mode and test.
Reset the NVRAM.
Reset the System Management Controller.
If the drive doesn't work under any of the above conditions, and if another drive does work with the same Mac, then the drive is malfunctioning.

8 MP is the resolution of the camera sensor. Images are compressed when stored so quite a bit smaller. The compression ratio depends on the level of detail in the image.

I have alot of music on a seperate server, how do I get iTunes to see this. I have tried adding it as a folder however when I shut the computer down and come back to it again it can't locate the music. Any ideas?

Apple provides repeat downloads as a convenience, not a substitute for your computers being the primary source of file transfers. All your iTunes information such as playlists, ratings, etc. are in a file on your computer, not in the Apple Store. Typically when you move computers you copy the whole iTunes folder and everything it contains to the new computer. Moving media files can be done with a drive, or by Home Sharing. You can also redownload media but let's say somebody desiced Apple may no longer sell a certain album; it cannot be downloaded again but if you already have it on a computer you can move your copy of the file.
5 authorizations: Some households have multiple computers. If you want ot use one with an account it has to be authroized. It means you can use any computer in the house to make purchaes, etc.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

How do i get itunes to see my apple TV

my apple TV's light is flashing and i can not start it. i tried to restore it on my computer but my itunes does not see my apple TV how do i get itunes to recognize my apple TV?

May also have to go into Preferences in iTunes and find the checkbox that says "Search for AppleTV's" It should be on but you may of turned it off in the past.

In the Gen 4 they offer "Settings" then "Reset Settings" Then it asks, "Do you want to reset your iPod?" I click on "reset" but then nothing resets. :-( This is what makes me think it might be locked or something....

All my content is in iTunes media folder after transferring from another pc as I followed instructions how to transfer to another pc off this site, but iTunes is reading from a from a previous library, as i was getting the cannot find or locate .itl so again i follwed instruction on here to get itunes to work (shift+open itunes then locate most recent itunes library) now opens but only some off my media. i followed the instructions to manually manage songs and playlists.
Drag playlists from iTunes in the Source to the iPod.
If you want to delete a playlists from the iPod, in the Source in iTunes, click th eDisclosure triangle in front of the iPod name to display the playlists on the iPod.
You should edit the playlists in iTunes and then drag them to the iPod.
If you edit them only on the iPod in iTunes, and have to reload your iPod, the playlists will disappear.

I just started volunteering with an open source project that depends upon several function libraries. It is built using the traditional configure/make method. My first problem, of course, is that configure is not seeing the libraries on my system because they don't have headers in /usr/include. Can somebody please point me to a project that i could use as an example in detecting frameworks?

Pick the entire drive>Get Info>Make sure you have read&write privledges and, of course, have added yourself. Either that, or pick all the files, and, once again, "Get info." You should be able to do this for a large group, not just file by file.

Ekiga claims that it has oss support, but I can't figure it out. I searched the configure files from both opal and ekiga, and rebuild both. Ekiga simply will not see anything oss. Any ideas?

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be. I went as far as to modify the source code of ptlib in order for it to link to libOSSlib.so, and it did nothing. It's really a pain. I've always had bad luck with voip phones in Linux with the exception of Skype. I'm not going to support a huge 32 bit set up anymore, so my options aren't so good.

I marked this done because OSS is too underdeveloped at the moment. It definitely sounds better than ALSA, no question there. But, trying to get things like USB microphones working is a major hassle. Hopefully either OSS won't die, or more work will go into getting ALSA's sound quality better.

How do I get iMovies to see my imported videos?

Using iPad2, I purchased the iMovie app, and when I take my home movies in .mov form and import them from iTunes to the iPad, iMovies does not see any videos. Surely this app will work with existing home videos and not just videos shot wight the iPad. If the was the case I never would have bought the app in the first place, I wanted to be able to edit my family vacation videos shot with a local hd cam directly on my iPad.

I figured out several things in a past 24 hrs.
iOS iMovie will see videos only from iOS camera roll.
so if camera roll app cannot read the video iMovie will that fail at that to.
Videos from iPhone 4, and 3GS are not the problem.
I am trying to get videos from my other video camera.
Interesting observation: if you copy video from Mac iMovie events (.mov file) into a iOS camera roll it will not be recognized, but when you connect iPad to your computer and open Mac iMovie and you select iPad as camera source you will be able to see that video as beeing available for export.
All these .mov files are encoded differently so unless your video encoded exactly the same way as videos from iPhone 4 or 3GS it would not show in iOS camera roll.
Anybody has other ideas on encoding and file formats for iOS iMovie.
right now iOS iMovie is useless to me since it does not support my workflow, do not even want spend time learning it.
Please prove me wrong.
