how do you get money baack for the app stor when the app locks up  your computer
how do you get your money back for the maac app store when the app locks up your computer

The general rule is that all sales are final.   Having said that, if you can show that the app in question has somehow caused problems for your machine (as opposed to you causing the problems by not utilising it properly, a refund may be possible.  Contacting the developer is the first port of call.

  • TS1702 How do I get rid of an app that keeps showing up in my update que when I didn't buy it?

Press and hold the app icon until it jiggles and an X appears in the corner. Touch the X and the app is deleted.

  • I have an 8GB Ipod Touch 2nd Gen.  The apps I already purchased don't seem to work anymore and when I go to re-install, I can't because it says I need a software update.  How can I get access to the apps that I purchased?

Due to having a gen 2 Ipod, I can't download any apps from the app store.  Plus, many of my previously downloaded apps (that I bought) aren't working...so I can't even re-download them since I still have 4.2.1.  HELP!!!  Rediculous that I can't use apps I paid for on the same device that I purchased them on.
    <Edited by Host>

A 2G iPod can only go as high as 4.2.1
Many developers when they updated their apps to support iOS 5 and 6 dropped compatibility for iOS 4.2.1 and earlier.
Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

There are no refunds. Why would you buy the same thing twice?
You can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception.

how do i get refunded for the apps that i purchased that no longer work due to the fact i cant upgrade my 3.1.3 iphone

I have never bought an app but on all other things Apple  somewhere has in tiny print the system requirements for running the software.  If you're going to live in the world of outdated technology the way I do, you will quickly learn to always read system requirements.
iTunes Customer Service Contact - http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact.html - Apple states all sales are final, but you can always try.

How do you get money back that you spent on a purchase but the item is unplayable on your device

If you are looking for a refund for the purchase of this application, you must request this from the support web site for the itunes or app's store.   You should note that officially the iTunes Store does not give refunds and that the terms of sale state that "all sales are final". You can ask, though, and perhaps they'll make an exception for you.  Just state why you feel a refund is deserved.

how do you get your ring/text tones that were purchased back on your phone

    Hey there oops31,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you want to know how to get tones that you’ve previously purchased on your iPhone 4s. The article linked below outlines the options for downloading past purchases and includes information about syncing tones from iTunes to your iOS device.
Download past purchases - Apple Support
    Audiobooks, ringtones, and tones
If you made a backup of these items on your Mac or PC, you can sync the items to your iOS device. You can't download these items again from iTunes in the Cloud.

  • How do I get rid of an app that has an automatic weekly charge

How do I get rid of an app that that I don't want that I'm being charged for automatically each week?

There are instructions on this page for managing and stopping auto-renewing subscriptions : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4098
If you also want delete the app from your iPad (you will also need to stop the subscription, just deleting an app won't do that) : press and hold any of the apps and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'

My Mavericks upgrade crashed my hard drive and I had to reinstall Mountain Lion.  Now I cannot get any of the apps that I purchased to download.  The icons on the launchpad just say "waiting" no matter what I try.  My app store ID is fine.  What do I do?

Are you now using a different username from the one you used prior to migrating? If so that is the reason for the problem. You might, then, give this a try:
    To fix Home folder permissions
Open the Terminal application in the Utilities folder.  At the command line prompt enter or paste the following command line:
    sudo chown -R `id -un`:`id -gn` ~
Press RETURN.  You will be prompted to enter your admin password which will not be echoed.

Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
Here are some general guidelines. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickYourMac.” First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickyourmac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, contact the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickYourMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickYourMac.” If not, open “BrickYourMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button.
You may have to log out or reboot in order to complete an uninstallation.
If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase your boot volume and perform a clean reinstallation of OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
Trying to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name often will not work and may make the problem worse. The same goes for "utilities" that purport to remove software.
