How do I get movies off my iPad

I have purchased several movies from my iPad directly. How do I get movies purchased from my iPad to my computer? I can synch movies I downloaded on my Mac to my iPad, but they are not going the other way.

Where is the "transfer purchases" command?

  • How do I get movies off my ipad to my computer?

I have a video on my iPad that appears in the Movies section. It is a home video not one I purchased.
How do I get this onto my iMac or PC?
It does not show up in iTunes on my computer in Movies, Videos or anywhere else, but is playable only on my iPad
I put it into my iPad from my PC, but my hard drive blew out and I had to replace my computer. The file is only on my iPad not now on my new computer.
Please help - this is an important video I do not wish to loose, but I just cannot see how I can transfer it.
    Many thanks

No, these options do not work.
The video was loaded into "movies" on my iPad from my PC before my PC blew up. They do not appear in photos or videos so do not appear in iPhoto.
It's as if Ipad is treating it like a movie I have purchased.
If I try and sync my movies itunes tells me that the contects on my iPad will be replaced with the iTunes on my new PC. but my video is ONLY on my ipad
    Please hlp .
    Thanks

You might find it useful to go to iBooks and download the manual.

  • How can you get songs off your IPAD if you have it on there two times

I have the same song on my Ipad two times how can I get them off.

On the page where you have your songs, on the right hand side of the song, swipe your finger to the right and the delete button will appear.  It only takes a quick swipe.  If you hold your finger in on the song first, it will start playing.

  • How do I get music off my iPad onto my new iMac?

I've got CDs on there which I'd ripped onto my old iMac but weren't purchased from iTunes.  My old iMac was burgled so I now want to sync my iPad with the replacement.  When I tried to sync it I got a message saying the contents of my iPad would be erased and replaced with the ilbrary on the computer, bu that only has the stuff I've purchased from iTunes.  I've not managed to update to iOS 5 yet as I haven't synced as I don't want to lose everything on there.
How do I get stuff off?
    Thanks

If you've authorised your iTunes account(s) on your computer's iTunes then you should be able to copy iTunes purchases via File > Transfer Purchases. For non-iTunes purchased music, if you haven't got a backup of content on external drives, CDs, DVDs etc, then you will need to see if there are any third-party programs that can copy content from your iPad to your computer

  • HT4101 How do I get pictures off my ipad

How do I get pictures off of my ipad?

The easiest and most universal woudl be to look into an app like Dropbox, or there are photo transfer apps, I just don't use them so I'm not familiar. The apps would enable you to upload the photos off your iPad to storage on the internet, then you can download them to any computer.

  • My friend downloaded iOS 5 to his iPad from my computer and all of my info including email went onto his iPad. How do I get it off his iPad and restore his stuff back on?

I was trying to download iOS 5 onto my friends iPad using my computer and all of my info including emails etc. synced onto his and erased all of his stuff. How can I get my stuff off of his iPad using my computer (he doesn't have one) and restore his apps etc?

If he doesn't have a computer and had no backup for his iPad he may be SOL. The entire time that the iPad has been on the market it was designed to be used in conjunction with a computer and iTunes - where all of the content should have been stored. The update to iOS 5 changes that now, but if your friend did not have a backup on a computer he may be out of luck with regard to app data, documents, settings, some saved photos, notes, calendar entries and more.
He can download all purchased content again as long as he uses the same Apple ID that he used to buy the content originally. You can also see if iTunes created a backup of his iPad contents on your computer from which you can restore his iPad. He will still have to download all apps, books, TV Shows, and music again. If he bought any movies, he will have to buy those again, they are not available as free downloads.
Launch iTunes on your computer and go to Edit>Prefernces>Devices and see if there is a backup of his iPad on your computer and start there.
But for the most part, your friend will have to start all over again - erasing all of your content - downloading all of his content - and then setting his iPad up again from scratch.

how do i get a apps off my ipad.

Hold your finger on the app you want to get rid off. When icons start to "Dance" there will be small circle with x top left corner of the app. Just touch it and ipad will ask you if you want to delete app. Choose yes and you are done.

  • How do you get movies off one itunes library, and into another.

I recently bought a dvd, and it had a free download for itunes to i uploaded it. On a different user, on the same computer, i have another itunes library in which i have all my music. It didn't transfer this purchase, and is there i way i can get the file into my itunes library?

Open your other library, go to File>Add to library and navigate to the folder containing the files you want to add. Once they are in your new library delete them from the other library making sure that when you get the prompt to move them to trash say no. You should also back your purchases up to disc or to an external drive so you don't lose them of anything happens to your hard drive:

  • How do I get music off my ipad after my pc with all my music crashed?

So my computer with all my music crashed.  But I have all the music on my ipad and my ipod.  Can I pull it off there to put it back on my pc?

If it's an iPod use the freeware software sharepod, I have restored my content from iPod onto my desktop.

  • How can I get music off my ipad?

I synced my iTunes music library to my iPad by mistake and now want to remove it. There is nothing about removing music from the device in the operating manual and I can't find anything in the support section on the Apple website. I would prefer a solution that didn't involve removing music from the iTunes library itself.

Hi - thanks for your reply.
I can't seem to make your first suggestion work, I've done this before for other apps so I understand the concept but it just doesn't work for the album view in the iPod app.
I'l give the other suggestion a go.

No I don't have another computer. I was thinking initially I would put them on my ipad but since I don't have enough gb maybe I can store them in some cloud thing? Sorry am a bit of a Luddite when it comes to all this. I just need to have them stored someplace and accessible to play when I need to. Thanks for your help.
