How do i get music into my Icloud music library?

I have iTunes match and I was creating a new playlist. I tried to add an album we a message appeared saying " Icloud playlist can only contain songs from your Icloud music library." How do I get that album in my Icloud music library and accessible in an Icloud playlist?

Make sure that your iTunes library on your computer has added the tracks to match. Add icloud status to song view, this will tell you if they have been matched or uploaded. Your playlist should not include ineligible items such as PDFs

I assume you have iTunes Match turned on in iTunes?
You can create a smart playlist in iTunes that has "iCloud Status" is "Matched" or "Upload" - that will tell you what's in the cloud.

You will have to sign in to I cloud on any of the iOS device with version 5 or above once with your Apple Id to use your Apple Id as I cloud account. So if you have an iPhone iPad or iPod touch with iOS 5 or later.
On your iOS device go to settings > I cloud and sign in and you should be able to use your Apple Id as an icloud Id.

The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.

iTunes is not capable of playing songs in FLAC format.
To use the music in iTunes get a 3rd party converter such as Switch and create versions in an iTunes compatible audio format such as MP3, AAC, Wav or AIFF.
Keep the original FLACs on hand for times when you are using a more capable music player.

If you are logged in with the same account that you bought them with, and they are still in your country's store and you haven't moved countries since buying them, then they might show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app for redownloading, and the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes. If not all show there then check to see if you've hidden any of them : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases - Apple Support
If they are no longer in the store or you've moved countries then do you have a copy of them anywhere ? If you still have the iPod with them on then you can connect it to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over to your iTunes library so that you can take a backup copy and sync them to your iPad.

It seems you are experiencing an issue with contact syncing and management. It seems you've removed an email account which contained a number of contacts that are not associated with your iCloud account. Thanks a lot! After I sent the above post, I tried that. It worked a little. Some of the ones that I Purchased would not come up. I followed instructions from Apple about going to Purchased and downloading them again, but ran into another problem. They are greyed on my Mac and they will not download again. It says to click on the iCloud beside them, but there is not one visible. iCloud is set up, at least I thought it was. I am sure there is a simple explanation, but I am missing it!

No, unfortunately you cannot merge accounts or transfer any purchased content from one account to another. As I said Apple won't let you do that.
