I haven't got iTunes on my laptop because for some reason it wont load. It's not a great problem because I have an iPad and I have a load of tunes in the music folder.
Here is my question, how can i get my music, from the music folder, on to my iPhones music folder?

in itunes make sure your menu bar is visable ( click the black and white squar in the top left corner > go to show menue bar)
click VIEW in the menu bar> chose "show sidebar"
then in the sidebar click on oyur device that will take you to the summary pane of your device
then at the top it will say summary info apps music movies ect...
click on MUSIC
then check the box beside of SYNC MUSIC
then check the option to sync entire music library

You should be able to:
Backup the device to the new installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup!

The syncing of music is not a true sync process - not really a sync at all. It is a transfer process. No iTunes content in your iTunes library will ever be touched or removed by syncing an iDevice.
Where is your old computer - the one with your iTunes library that was used to sync with your iPhone? Why didn't you transfer your iTunes library from your old computer to your new computer along with all other important data such as documents, photos, etc.?
If your old computer is still available, transfer your iTunes library from your old computer to your new computer per the instructions included with this link. This will prevent any iTunes content from being removed from your iPhone with the first sync with iTunes on your new computer.

Is iTunes Match worth it? I have MAJOR trouble downloading music to my phone when I want to listen to it....whether i'm in a WiFi environment or not. The promises of the service seem like BS. Like, right now, I'm in a WiFi area trying to download an album to my phone and there are just spinning circles showing zero progress.....and it's been like that for about 9 minutes. You would have to create the ringtone. Google will find several ways to do this.
You can only buy ready made ringtones from the ringtones asections of the itunes store on your iphone.
