How do i get music vids and movies onto ipod?

I've downloaded some music videos and movie clips etc onto my itunes library, but i cant get it off the library onto the ipod.
How do i do this?
I have a 30GB video Ipod.

I'm having the exact same problem... i have one downloaded tv show that transfers but three others that don't transfer from itunes to ipod. i can view them in itunes but they just don't transfer.
Furthermore, there are several *.mov files that I imported into itunes so that i could transfer them onto my ipod. Same problem... I can view them in itunes, but they don't transfer.
There is PLENTY of space on my ipod so I know that's not the problem.

So here is the deal. I loaded music onto my iPod Touch (pretty sure it is a 3G as I cannot upgrade past IOS Version 4) then upgraded my iTunes player when the latest upgrade came out. Some how during this operation several of my albums got erased off my computer. I looked everywhere and nothing, and wouldn't you know I don't back up my music. I discovered some of my missing albums on my iPod but when I sync to my computer the music does not move from iPod to my computer. So my question is this: is there a way a way to transfer musc from my iPod to my laptop? I have looked everywhere and have found nothing and had resolved myself to never deleting the songs from my iPod but I thought I would try these forums as a last ditch effort.

If you are in a country with iClould you can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
For other music you will need to get it from where you got it in the first place.

So you imported a few CDs to your iTunes library or did you use another application to import them to your iMac's HD?

How do I get "Digital Copies" of movies onto my iPad2?

I am having troble syncing my digital movie library from iTunes to my new iPad2. I have downloaded iTunes versions of the movies directly from the website as required in the DVD insert and activated them with the appropritate activation codes, and they play just fine in my iTunes on my laptop, but when I try to sync them to my iPad2 they are not showing up. Any tips for getting this to work?

Are you sure they are on the device? Sounds like they are just in iCloud. Do they have a cloud icon next to them? If they do they aren't on your device and as such not taking up space. If you don;t want to see them you can go to Settings->Videos->Show All Videos and turn it off. This will hide all your iCloud movies from the videos App. but again they aren't really on your device.

Unfortunately that's not something you can change. To see the titles you need to tap on the movie. I guess Apple assumes the cover art already has the name so there is no need to repeat it.

How do I get music off my iPad onto my new iMac?

I've got CDs on there which I'd ripped onto my old iMac but weren't purchased from iTunes. My old iMac was burgled so I now want to sync my iPad with the replacement. When I tried to sync it I got a message saying the contents of my iPad would be erased and replaced with the ilbrary on the computer, bu that only has the stuff I've purchased from iTunes. I've not managed to update to iOS 5 yet as I haven't synced as I don't want to lose everything on there.

If you've authorised your iTunes account(s) on your computer's iTunes then you should be able to copy iTunes purchases via File > Transfer Purchases. For non-iTunes purchased music, if you haven't got a backup of content on external drives, CDs, DVDs etc, then you will need to see if there are any third-party programs that can copy content from your iPad to your computer

I can't do it through Itunes because it will delete everything that is currently on my IPhone when I sync it. Thanks for the reply. To answer your question, when I click sync music in my itunes a notification comes up saying all content ( music ) will be removed from iphone and synced with itunes library. ( Which is empty except for the songs I just downloaded ) I just recently got this computer.

Yes, I sync my music to my PC on iTunes. Your instructions are exactly what I've read you are suppose to do but when I go to the info tab, there isn't a choice to sync from outlook.
Under Sync Contacts it says;
Your contacts are being synced with your iPad over the air from iCloud. Over the air sync settings can be changed on your iPad.

If I don't hear anything else, I will try to export my contacts and email them to myself but I would think I would have to enter them manually that way, but I don't know.

I have been organizing my bookmarks into folders. There are a bunch of bookmarks that appear on the Bookmarks Menu that do not appear when I used the Organize Bookmarks option. Therefore I can't organize them. How do I get at them and move them to folders

I used Organize Bookmarks to put some bookmarks in folders. When I had done all the bookmarks that appeared outside of folders in the Organize Bookmarks window, I closed it and looked at my bookmarks menu. Under my folders were some other bookmarks that I hadn't seen in Organize Bookmarks and when I used it again, they still weren't visible. Therefore, I couldn't move them into folders.

Update - I discovered that the entire list of bookmarks can be accessed in the Organize Bookmarks window by clicking on the icon for Bookmarks Menu.
This seem like odd interface behaviour to me.
All the other software I use follows the pattern that an icon with a triangle to the left, which you click on to expand the menu tree downwards, shows the entire contents of the category when you click on the triangle. In other words, you don't get a different response by clicking on the icon from what you get by clicking on the triangle.
It also seems odd to me that when an unsorted bookmarks folder is automatically provided that unsorted bookmarks would not be placed there by default.
Anyway, by getting the list of bookmarks displayed this way I was able to simply right-click on items in the list and delete them, as I thought I should be able to do. Problem solved. Organize Bookmarks interface found to be somewhat unintuitive.

You have a few options
1. If you sync with your computer on a regular basis. Then you connect your iPad to your computer and select the option on your iPad that says "Restore from iTunes" [or Connect to iTunes].
On your computer, select Restore from Backup and select the latest date for that backup (if more than 1 is present). This will restore your iPad's apps, documents, pictures, email accounts, etc back.
2. If you used iCloud to back up your iPad. When you get your new iPad select "Restore from iCloud" and the rest will happen automatically. It may take a few hours so plug it in to the wall outlet and let everything restore.
Here are somethings that won't restore
A. Apps that have been removed from the AppStore for any reason. Even if you paid for it, you cant get it unless you sync with your computer.
B. Music that have been removed from the iTunes Store.
C. Movies, TV Shows that have been removed from iTunes Store
3. If you're starting a FRESH new iPad. You can set up your account. Use the SAME Apple ID as you did on your old iPad. If you don't remember which email address you used then search your emails (on your computer) for iTunes receipts. After you link your Apple ID to your new iPad; you want to go to the AppStore and select Purchased and then download the apps that you want to have on your iPad.
