How do i get my 7th gen nano to play through my work computer?

I want to be able to play my nano through my work computer. I have itunes on my work computer. I just can't figure out how to play my music that is on it. I don't want to download any music to my work computer. Someone please help.

If you are working out with this divide and running it will shake to shuffel and you can go under playlist and add new play list and make that way and you can put them in any order and you can turn off shake to shuffel and the settings under music

My iPod gives me the "iPod cannot be identified" error message when I plug it into my Windows 8 machine. I have tried literally all of the troubleshooting steps on the website. It works on previous versions of Windows. Anyone else have this problem? How do you fix it?

Ok, I've downloaded the drivers as suggested.but still not printing as it should.
It's now printing one page as opposed to many, but it still has the jargon on top of the page as depicted in my original post?
From this info you advised, it does suggest, does it not, that the HP Laser Jet 6p is supported.

All you have to do is have iTunes for Windows on that computer and use iTunes to restore the iPod on the windows machine and the Nano will now be in Windows format.
Be warned, you will lose everything on the Nano as the restore process is a formatting process. So if you don't have your stuff backed up elsewhere, you need to do that first.

Either you have accidently posted this in the wrong forum (this is the LiveType discussion board), or the fora are screwing up again (if they ever stopped). To answer your question, though, you need some kind of converter that will export only the audio. I'm sure there are many free solutions out there, but not being familiar with Windows, the only one I know off the top of my head is Quicktime Pro ($30).
Either way, your iPod problems shouldn't be affecting your caps lock key.

My iPod 7th gen nano is playing songs very slowly. I have reset it and that did not help. In podcasts, when I tap the top, it says "1x" I reset my settings, and that did not help.

Are you setting the Shuffle Albums setting here:
Settings>Shuffle>Albums
If you have that last setting = Songs, then it is going to shuffle your songs. If you have it set to Albums, then it should shuffle the Albums but play the songs within the albums in order.

**1. Separate these out first without deleting anything from i tunes libary?**
iTunes:
Set up 2 iTunes playlist, one for songs & the other for talking books.
**2. Then simply transfer my 500 odd tracks of music to my new nano?**
Connect new iPod to computer & set it to manually sync.
Move your music playlist to Devices. Music will sync to your new iPod.
*3. Once all this done, delete songs (only) from the old nano just leaving my talking books?
Connect old nano to computer.
Under Devices-Music: Start deleting all the songs including any song headings you have in the left column under Music. This will delete from the iPod yet leave your iTunes library intact.

If youre like me, I have so many Apple devices, I always move things over manually rather than remember what to sync and what not to sync........ There’s an option to UNCHECK sync on any device if that helps you in ITUNES.
On any device, like your phone, in ITUNES you can check the option for manual vs. automatically sync.
