How do i get my album?
i purchased the Motown 50 album (not the love one out now the one before it for the 50th anniversary of Motown (black cover big gold M and number 50) before Christmas and i just got a new phone with more storage and wanted put all my music on it. I have searched all over my account and purchases everywhere i can think of etc.. and there is no record of it anywhere and its not in the iTunes store anymore. I'm totally stumped at what to do now.

If the album is no longer in the store then you won't be able to redownload it - rights-holders occasionally remove their content from the store. Do you have a copy of it in your computer's iTunes library and/or on your backup of your downloads/library so that you can sync it to your phone ?

Quick answer: Select all the tracks on the album, File > get info, and either give them all a single "album artist" or check the "compilation" flag.

It sounds like you might have the shuffle button at the bottom left of the iTunes (the button with the squiggly lines).
If that's not the case, then maybe you just need to sort your library by album by clicking the album tab at the top.
Is your music in a playlist, or are you trying to play it from the entire library? -

It's version iPhoto '11. I sent the photos to the trash from in the resident iPhoto application, but not to the iPhoto trash, but the OS's trash in the bottom right task bar (Finder Trash).
Realizing what I had done, I dragged the picture folder back into the "Pictures" folder under my name in the Finder. I also dragged the iPhoto Library file back, but it said a new one had been created... I still attempted to replace the new with old iPhoto Library file.
The pictures are back and i can see the album names under events. The problem is that the album covers, nor the pictures themselves show up as thumbnails like they did before... they only show when you individually click on the photo to bring it into full view. I only see a grey background where the thumbnail was.
Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

How do you get your album's songs to stay together when you put them on your ipod/iphone, when some songs have a ft. artist?
Even when I try to change the featured artist in my I tunes, it won't stay with my other songs, and I want to be able to listen to my album in the order of the songs that the album has it.The iTunes/iPod software isn't set up to let you sync songs from more than one libray, but if you manually manage the iPod you can add tracks from multiple computers without removing the existing content. Personnaly I think syncing with a library is a much better way to manage your iPod, so I'd suggest you just copy the stuff you bought at work onto a memory stick, then take it home and import it into your iTunes library there.

help! my iphone was recently stolen before i had chance to sync it or back it up to icloud i purchased an album, how can i get that album in my itunes to listen to. I can search for the album an it just comes up purchased but i cant listen to it
If you bought it from the iTunes Store, click here and follow the instructions; the process of iTunes Store content being put in the iCloud is automatic.
If you got it from another source, reload it from that source.

i have noticed that the album artwork on itunes installed on my phone is missing some of the album artwork when i go to the "album" section of itunes in my phone. How can i get the album artwork to show up
first of all, no one is going to respond to this becuase limewire is used basically in your situation illegally. But let's say you import a cd, left click on the songs you imported and hit get album artwork, if nothing comes up, the album sn't in the itunes database, get it online. And I suggest never to mention limewire and music files on the same post here, since limewire is a file sharing program. Use Itunes, it's easier. theo

The large text size makes your post almost impossible to read.
Excessive use of bold or capitals (also) makes posts difficult to read.
You can drag most of the column headings left or right, or right-click on the header to turn columns on or off.
Once you've used File > Display Duplicates or Shift > File > Display Exact Duplicates you can use File > Display All or the Display All button at the bottom of the list to restore the display.

I just did the same. I installed elements13 and it asked to upgrade the catalog and gave the old catalog a "1" behind it. All the albums and tags came across. It is quite a different view so it took me a while to find everything.

Are they not played in the order they are listed? Have you checked the Setting to make sure that the Shuffle and Repeat options are turned off?

To get the songs downloaded to your notebook, go to the iTunes Store and click on the Purchased link in the Quick Links section. Once there you should be able to see a list of purchased content, find the album and click on the cloud symbol to download them again. How do I get the Album Wall on iPad with iOS 7
On iOS 6 the Music App would display the albums in grid format showing the album artwork, if available. On iOS 7 the Music App only shows the Albums in a list - no matter which direction the iPad is held. How can I get my Albums in the Music App back to a grid format?
This is my BIGGEST bugbear with the iOS7 version of music app on iPad.
I have a lovely retina display but all my music is displayed in a list! Anyone'd think Microsoft of the 80s had designed it! Certainly looks like a spreadsheet user's dream... but I want to see those album covers... just like we can in iTunes on the Mac.
Please, please PLEASE fix this Apple... then I can start listening to music on the iPad again! -
