How do I get my Apple TV Screensaver to play an album other than Photostream?
If you don't want to use a remote with your computer the easiest thing to do is just to turn the IR off. (System Preferences > Security > General, click on the Advanced button in the bottom right corner - If the button is greyed out, click on the lock icon and enter your administrators password)
If you still want to use your computer remote then you must pair your computers remote with the computer AND the Apple TV remote with the Apple TV.
To pair a remote with a device hold down the menu and FF buttons together for six seconds or until you see a chain icon on screen (best take the computer into another room, or turn it off, when you do this)

Kudos! I too am frustrated about this change to my personal page. I also know Apple is not to blame. I also manage a page for the company I work for using pages app. And that app is UN affected and I can choose from any photo stored on my phone (4). I do keep them seperate so I can keep a professional aspect for the company. But if you want your personal page linked to your public or work page, this maybe the work around your looking for.

What I can't figure out is how to set a reminder for a time other than the appt time. For example: I want Siri to remind me at 10:00 pm on Monday that I have a dentist appt. at 9:00 am on Tuesday. She screws up the dates and times no matter what I say
"Remind me at 10:00 pm on Monday". Siri: "Ok, just tell me what you want to be reminded about". "I have a dentist appointment on 9:00 am on Tuesday". Siri should set it up correctly.

How do I get firefox from rerouting or sending me to sites other than the ones I want?
When I try to go to one website, link or webpage- I keep getting rerouted to other sites I didn't ask to go to. It happens with basically every web site including yours when I use firefox but it doesn't happen when I use another browser. I have a Mac running 10.5.8 and my firefox is 16.0.2
You may have some malware on your Mac if you get redirected.

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if the "Use the system proxy settings" setting or one of the others doesn't work properly.

Navigate to Settings > Computers > Your Library on the Apple TV, you may be told you will lose all synced content, but you can't doing anything abouty this, you won't lose any purchased content that has yet to be transferred. Then select Settings > Computers > Connect To iTunes, note the passcode that appears on screen, click on the device in iTunes and enter the passcode when prompted. -

try disabling email scanning for incoming mail.
One of the last things that occurs is the mail server and Thunderbird sign off on "where we are up to" and Thunderbird stores this state information in the popstate.dat file in your profile (there is one in each POP mail account folder). EddyOnly one id can be logged in at a time, so if you want to use the other id you'll need to log out of the current one by tapping on it on the right-hand side of Settings > Store and you can then log in with the second account.

I have Iphone 4s, and the phone will activate itself again. This I have verified, but when I shall put this onto my phone, so the phone will not approve the newusername and password. It sounds like your device might be in Activation Lock. Is it asking your to enter in an Apple ID & password, but only showing you the first letter of the email address and then some dots? Example: j•••••@icloud.com?
If so, do you recognize that email? Do you have an Apple ID that fits the same format? If so, then go to www.cloud.com, log in with that Apple ID & password, and see if under Find My iPhone it shows this device. If so, turn off the device, then remove the device from the list. -
I presently use iCloud and run a laptop PC plus an iPad2 and an iPhone 4. I plan to travel and want to take my netbook, rather than the laptop PC for travelling. How do I get my apple tools to work mwith a new, temporary PC?

Thanks for the link Diesel. Not quite there yet. Software is all up to date to 6.0.2. Your link suggests I should have second or third gen apple tv. Not sure what generation Apple TV I have. Don't believe its a really early model. I have model MC572LL/A. But it has the latest update, so I would think it would connect. Still no apple tv icon on my macbook pro.

You can either,
A: Go to iForgot.apple.com and reset the passcode using the password system there, or by going to appleid.apple.com
or
B: IF possible restore the device to factory settings via iTunes.
What's the xtent of the damage and the reason you need to do it?
IF it's for iMessage as "Chief501" you will have to go with Option A or just wait till it falls off itself.
