How do I sync my photos and music from my I phone to my iPad? I have sync'd on iTunes but can't figure out how to get iTunes to recognize what I have purchased already.
Here is a possible solution: When you sync your iPad, highlight your iPad in the left column of itunes and you should see a set of tabs for your iPad. Check the tabs for apps, music, and photos and make sure the items you want on the iPad are set to sync. When you have them set, click the "apply" button in the lower right corner of itunes.

You can use Photo Stream to sync the photos and videos or you can use an app like DropBox: When you open the app in iPhone/iPad you can upload your Camera Roll to your DropBox folder (you need a DropBox Account) and later, in your iPad/iPhone, you can open the app again and download what you need.

You can copy all iTunes purchases from your iPad 2 to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases. You can then force a backup of the iPad (assuming that you want to restore it onto your iPad 3) by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes and selecting 'Backup', and you can copy off photos/videos that you've taken with the iPad to your computer : photos to computer. Photos and videos that you've taken with the iPad that are in the Camera Roll album will be included in the backup (and therefore copied via a restore), but you may want to take your own backup of them.

To restore from an iCloud backup you have to erase the phone and start over. To do this, go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, then go through the setup assistant again and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup. There is no other way to do this.
Be sure you phone is connected to wifi and your charger as this is likely to take some time to finish. -

If you still have the crashed Win computer, you may be able to recover your music and movies from the hard drive. If you have a friend with a hard drive USB connection kit and a PC, they should be able to help. Otherwise, check locally for computer services that might do that for you (I think Best Buy Geek Squad may be able to help). If the drive itself is in good shape, it shouldn't be too expensive.
